Russell & Bromley also do them. Look in the children's section.

jabberwocky · 08/08/2006 15:33

Ds loves them. I wasn't crazy about them myself but my dm has a pair and thinks they are great.

expatinscotland · 08/08/2006 15:36

DD1 loves hers! She's gotten so many compliments.

PandaG · 08/08/2006 15:36

I've seen them in an independant shoe shop for £28, were £45 in Rock apparently. I am waiting for more colours to come in - if I am going to buy unusual shoes I want a bright colour, not the black which was all they had in my size!

eidsvold · 13/09/2006 07:48

longwaytogo - what got me on to them was an articel about hospital staff wearing them especially theatre staff as they are so sturdy - can handle the constant sterilsing/washing and yet were very very comfy.

busteach · 13/09/2006 08:15

I like them on little girls but not sure about on adults as I think they look a bit 'hospital shoe'. Each to their own though.....

Surfermum · 13/09/2006 08:30

I saw a couple of men wearing them at the beach this weekend. They were judging a lifesaving competition and were in and out of the water and on their feet all day. I thought they looked hideous but they were probably highly practical. I might be tempted to get some if I were a swimming teacher on poolside all day or something like that.

quokka · 13/09/2006 08:50

agree that they are better on kids that adults! When we were in Oz they were really popular so got ds a pair for $10, I can't believe how much they are selling for here. Might get my mum to send loads over so I can flog them on MN

MamaG · 13/09/2006 08:53

Oh Expat how could you - to me, they are on a par with Birkenstocks

eidsvold · 13/09/2006 09:02

quokka - are they the 'real' crocs - cause I have looked everywhere and they are $50 for real crocs and then knock offs can be had much cheaper.

quokka · 13/09/2006 09:35

I'm sure they were real, got them from Freo market in WA, they were the kids ones?

curlew · 13/09/2006 09:40

They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I have two pairs - blue and yellow. M Yes they are supposed to be worn loose and no they don't smell. Check out evilbay - there are sellers on there. And no, I'm not one!

Fimbo · 13/09/2006 09:47

Sports World have knock-offs for £14.99

Fimbo · 13/09/2006 09:48

(They don't look knock-off btw)

Blu · 13/09/2006 09:54

I think they are fab, but not on everyone. Because they are chunky, they look best on quite slim people, for the deliberate contrast. I would like to wear them, but am on the mature side, and I fear I would look like an old Greenham Common matriarch.

longwaytogo · 13/09/2006 10:17

apparantly your not supposed to wear them with socks but I have to for work. I've had mine now must be about 4 weeks or so and was just inteding wearing for work but they are soooo comfortable. My feet and legs used to kill after a 13 hour shift but now I come home and neither my feet or legs kill and my feet are not all smelly and sticky. I love them and am converted. (even though I think they look ugly)

more a comfort gil me you see.

Enid · 13/09/2006 11:47

My silver ones arrived this morning

they are fabbo

but are they SUPPOSED to smell like that (mothballish)

Jimjams2 · 13/09/2006 11:49

That goes quite quickly.

I bought mine on holiday, started off just wearing them inside/on holiday now can't bear to wear anything else.
