It might do that on me too one the curse of big hips but fingers crossed.

liberty last time I checked, I had a 15 inch difference between hips and waist big hips run in the family though!

Liberty i remember those days well.....Something that often used to work for me was using choice in that instead of saying 'get your coat on' I used to ask 'do you want your red coat or your blue coat' and usually (not always) they'd be so engrossed in making the choice, they'd forget they were the two year old who didn't want to wear a coat

Did anyone mention me? :-) yes, leaving for Bali on Monday!!! Still fit into my bikinis (although I'm contemplating moving on to swimswuits because, well, body is aging), have coloured my hair, nails and toes tomorrow...

But yes, bathrooms in Bali can be amazing. Last time I was there, I had an outdoor one. Shower, sink, toilet...everything, with a little pojlnd with a resident frog included.

I'm sporting a bob at the moment - what can I do with it once I'm there? Too short for ponytail and will get frizzy

Lots of leave in conditioner Because and some hair scarves - this type of look or this. I am so . I ADORE Bali - have been there 5 times and got married there

Get a wide ballet stretchy band Because and that'll hold the hair off your face. If that's too hot, try a thin cotton scarf either rolled to make a headband or over your hair totally.

Or if it suits you try slicking your hair back with a product made for hot humid climates. Bumble & Bumble are good.

And did anyone mention a Birkin?

Sigh...last year I had a great year at work and was compensated appropriately. That, and the sale of my bachelorette flat, led me to believe that maybe, just maybe, I could go wild for once in my life and buy myself a Birkin. Took some convincing for DH to agree to my craziness, and only because he understood that for me, the silly bag was a symbol of all the hard work I put into being moderately successful at work.

But ha! Good luck, Because, trying to get your hands on one. I was rebuffed at the shop so I went online and discovered that you have to kiss ass majorly (they call it "building a relationship") and wait and wait and wait...I don't have the energy or the nerve - I have to do in the heat of the moment or I change my mind and do something more sensible with the money.

And that is my sad story of how I never got a Birkin. One more thing to add to the list of stuff that's out of my reach this year mopes.

Bloody hell because that is a hard bag to get hold of. I must be every naive in thinking you just pay for goods these days! Would it be easier to get it from one of the stores on the continent? Have an amazing time in Bali by the way!!

Hmmmm DH made me climb a volcano for sunrise last time we were in Bali. I still haven't forgiven him...bring some decent boots, the sides of the volcano are all loose slippy rock. At the top we had to walk around the rim of the volcano shudders even now remembering it needless to say there are no handrails and I am terrified of heights. Even more hilarious than the hair photos are the photos of me at the top of the volcano looking rather 'we are not amused'.

wails I don't have hiking boots! He initially said he'd go up the volcano and I could have a spa day, and I said no I will go with you because it's our honeymoon...maybe I need to reconsider.

Now Liberty you know that by saying that, we need to see a photo on mnv!
