But I do seem to remember showing Marsha my fat rolls later on at lunch during last MU...... (lucky her!)

MarshaBrady · 27/01/2014 17:49

Lol Shop! If I recall the required number of proseccos had been consumed in their entirety so you're off the hook. Grin

MarshaBrady · 27/01/2014 17:50

ps you looked very trim when I last saw you. Sleep effect!

shopafrolic · 27/01/2014 17:51

Just to clarify for lurkers - I was showing that I could pinch more than an inch through my clothes - not flashing Grin

shopafrolic · 27/01/2014 17:52
Blush
OneLittleLady · 27/01/2014 17:59

Don't worry shop when i was out today, the wind caught my skirt and everyone behind me got an eyeful of my bum! Blush

MarshaBrady · 27/01/2014 18:05

Shop don't worry it will pass. I was worried I'd freaked Dry out a bit Grin.

Look something pretty, bright and pretty.

oh my I used to wear clogs all the time. How funny to see them back.

I would like skinnies this colour for spring.

shopafrolic · 27/01/2014 18:16

LOVE that bag Marsha With the trapeze although I actually prefer your link.
Lovely jeans, you'd rock those

shopafrolic · 27/01/2014 18:21

oh my

MarshaBrady · 27/01/2014 18:33

Both are gorgeous.

Actually just realised as running the bath. On the how fashionable do you feel. Obviously I would love to spend a small fortune at the beginning of the season on up to the minute things. The neon bag all that. But since it's more about choosing I guess I do the sales thing more.

AmberNectarine · 27/01/2014 18:59

Need to get my Kenzo tshirt in the soak - DS cut his head and bled all over it! He is fine after cuddle and a gruffalo plaster - hoping the tee will be as easy to fix!

Decameron · 27/01/2014 19:12

Poor DS, Amber, and hope your t shirt recovers too!

I am not very fashionable, I like to buy things that aren't one season wonders. I'll be ditching my bright J Brands this summer, I got two years out of them so not bad.

I love that bag, Shop. I am ebaying furiously and in the market for a new bag. Current favourites are Burberry (can get 20% off) or this Balenciaga in anthracite (keeping ebaying and sell the children).

LinusDKD · 27/01/2014 19:19

Hope your DS is ok amber!

Ooh bag porn! Really like the Burberry decam and thag neon Valentino marsha

I might have ordered something from the Outnet earlier, will try and find a link.

LinusDKD · 27/01/2014 19:23

dress

It looks very simple but I love the cotton of the Chinti and Parker dress I bought in the NaP sale so I hope this one is as nice.

Drywhiteplease · 27/01/2014 19:42

Ooh Amber hope DS is ok and the kenzo survives

Blimey Marsha I was nearly blinded!you could have warned me!!!!
Lovely Burberry Decameron and the Givenchy Shop "oh my"... You been reading 50 Shades?

Ahem, surely pinching through your clothes is bonkers because depending of the fabric you will obv pinch more than an inch.....I think you need to pinch SKIN Shop and I'm sure there's not a lot to pinch....

There's really no point me answering the "how fashionable are you?" Question. Grin .I'm very classic and a slow burner, have never been cutting edge. It took me until 2011 to get into skinnies.Shock I do follow trends but a watered down version.
I also find, when I read about "this season's" trends that they're always the same......bit of pastel, leather still, metallic, bright colour blocking, masculine, monochrome, girlie, boho, mini, midi.....there's always something I can work and say it's "this season"

Absolutely Dry. It all gets rehashed.

Linus that dress is gorgeous, I'd be so tempted if I wasn't on a break.

Oh no Amber poor sausage. Ds2 had his head glued when he was tiny was awful! Just turned around and there was slow trickle of blood running down his face, didn't even see how he did it.

Decam lovely bags.

Dh just saw the Valentino and said awful Shock. That killed it!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 27/01/2014 19:52

Love that Burberry and also the bright blue Rockstud trapeze. And the Antigona.

Also decam I love the my-wardrobe loyalty scheme, it's the best imo!

I would have to really really love something to buy it at the start of the season at full price, whether high street or designer (though of course the love required would be proportional to the price...)

Linus that is a lovely dress. Good for work or casual.

Urgh have got a really busy 2 weeks at work. Hopefully it will go quickly without me spending anything until mid Feb and then I can splurge a bit :)

LinusDKD · 27/01/2014 20:00

The fact the Outnet have styled the dress with a yellow bag reminded me I van wear it with my yellow Nano.

dry I am going to be the voice of reason and tell you not to buy it because you have to save up for your Gucci.

marsha on the other hand has no excuse.... Wink

BecauseIsaidS0 · 27/01/2014 20:28

Decam, I had the Balenciaga City in black....loved it, loved, it loved it. One of my favourite bags ever. Wore it until it fell apart.

MarshaBrady · 27/01/2014 20:35

Haha Linus! It looks incredible with yellow.

Turquoiseblue · 27/01/2014 21:13

Gorgeous bags love the Burberry one!
No exciting shopping news I fear I ll be kicked off MNV because of my non exciting links these days, roll on ss14.

Am wearily consiðering biker boots as have realised I probably won't get my feet into flats until I go abroad on holidays summer, if we get one
Probably missed the boat completely but Ido so much walking to and from schools/ trains etc anything with more than a Cuban heel is too high so I think bikers might be the answer.

So who asked the question "are you fashionable " my answer is probably in my head only - how late am I to the biker boot trend ? (Well we re not counting the ones I had when I was 13 right ?) so I m a slow burner, slow to adopt a trend and slow to get rid of the ones I like Smile

The C and P dress is lovely anni be lovely with orange/ red too.
I got some nice denim here and but it s not a keeper and I ve my eye on this for next month I think
Shop you asked about sandro on line - I buy instore so have only looked online, sorry I m late with the answer I saw your question last week but forgot to reply. I hAve two dresses that are sandro from last year and they ve worn so well (wore them again this year) I saw this in store and it s lovely here but the zip at the front was a bit off putting fussy and I liked this too here but felt a bit old for it!

justasecond · 27/01/2014 21:38

I am late to the biker boot trend too although I have some that sort of nod to the trend from across the road. I missed the delivery of the sam edelman bikers today, will be at work tomorow morning too so hope they come in the afternoon. The problem I have is big feet on thin legs which make most bikers look like big blobs on the end of my legs. I am sure the Jimmy Choo youth would look perfect though Grin
I am not very fashionable but I did start wearing skinnies in 2006! I am interested in fashion and trends even if I don't wear them all. Don't see much trend setting in my neck of the woods so when I go into London I love people watching as much as everthing else there is to see.
Linus that C+P dress is really lovely and v versatile too.

MarshaBrady · 27/01/2014 21:41

I think I might skip biker boots altogether. Not sure they go with anything I have.

Drywhiteplease · 27/01/2014 21:53

But...what recent trends have you not embraced then?
Me....well predictable, bet you lot could list mine Grin
