I have this - it fits A4 folders and a mac book pro in easily. A larger laptop also fits but is a tighter squeeze.

I bought this one in the House of Fraser sale the other day for £35 ish (can't find it on their website for some reason). I was looking for the same thing as you - this isn't leather but I'm really pleased with it so far.

TKMaxx have some nice tan totes by Osprey at the moment.
