Do you...

  • love fashion (high and low end), style, beauty?
  • spend way more time than is healthy for anyone thinking about the contents of your wardrobe?
  • wish you had the nerve to apply for Mastermind with your specialist subject being the history of H&M collaborations?

If so come and chat! Hugs and kisses allowed

Dry excellent idea - have ordered Thanks
Decam I've got toddler taming on my Kindle but never get round to finding the time to read it - one for next week while DH is off
Amber for cocktails I'd wear skinnies and the top and boots - but then I would wouldn't I?

shopafrolic · 17/01/2014 16:17

Good one Dry - I came very close to picking up naked DS and carrying him, wrapped in towel, kicking and screaming to the car but was worried the other mums might report me to SS

Decameron · 17/01/2014 16:34

Both lovely but I think outfit 1.

Got a refund and an apology!

shopafrolic · 17/01/2014 16:36

Parcel has arrived..... DH I'd home and stressed about packing. Might have to wait......

AmberNectarine · 17/01/2014 16:40

well, I'm wearing the top because I couldn't be arsed to put tights on!

Drywhiteplease · 17/01/2014 16:48

Can't stand the suspense Shop.... Although seeing you in the dress might put a smile on his face Smile

shopafrolic · 17/01/2014 16:51

He's on a conference call - I might lose him his job!
Have fun Amber - that is the reason why every time I think about wearing a dress, I wear jeans.

shopafrolic · 17/01/2014 16:53

It's love

MarshaBrady · 17/01/2014 17:17

I am absolutely the same about tights recently. I used to wear dresses in the daytime quite a bit. No way anymore, no skirts either. Unless it's summer. I find skinnies so much more comfy than opaques.

That cafe was terrible in the end, the food took sooo long we had to rush to pick up ds from school and the piano seemed nice at first was piano tuning, not as nice.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 17/01/2014 17:22

Aww that's a shame Marsha.

I wear opaques nearly every day at the moment. I don't find them too uncomfy, but just get so bored of them. Nothing seems to look as good in the daytime with opaques as I feel it would with bare legs/nude stockings. And it hasn't even been a cold winter! Hurry up spring!

Love it shop, the perfect black clutch.

So glad it's the weekend.

MarshaBrady · 17/01/2014 17:25

Me too Barbie. So pleased it's Friday. Dc parties again this weekend. But lots of time to relax.

Have booked a night out for dh's forthcoming birthday. Cannot wait.

MarshaBrady · 17/01/2014 17:25

Love that clutch Shop.

shopafrolic · 17/01/2014 17:30

Right - have tried dress. Pics are awful so will try and take more tomorrow in daylight, and I have no make up on, haven't down hair and feel really down on myself after this morning so not the nest time to try. Not sure. Honest opinions please - will Pin shortly.....

OneLittleLady · 17/01/2014 17:31

Oh shop don't feel bad, toddlers are a nightmare for everyone. it's really not you or anything you do, it's just the way toddlers are. Hope you brighten up soon Thanks Wine

QueenCadbury · 17/01/2014 17:43

Hello all. shop stop beating yourself up. All toddlers have tantrums and if any mums were judging you then their child obviously hasn't reached that stage yet. But they will, it's what toddlers do and how they learn boundaries. I do find it's worse when hungry so do give him a snack beforehand and I love dry idea of the toy as bribery. I probrably would tell dd that if she didn't let me get her dressed I'd put her in the car naked but by dc3 I'm not easily fazed by tantrums anymore.

Drywhiteplease · 17/01/2014 17:48

Opinions on Pin please

shopafrolic · 17/01/2014 17:49

Me too on Pin - have feedback on yours Dry :)

shopafrolic · 17/01/2014 17:53

fed

BrandyAlexander · 17/01/2014 17:57

Grrr. Been in house for 30 mins waiting for a decorator to turn up and give a quote. Why would you be late for a potentially big job?Confused

Yes, this is random. I have nothing of fashionable note to add. I am wearing my jack wolfskin jacket over my sweater and skinnies and Uggs.Grin

MarshaBrady · 17/01/2014 18:02

That's rubbish Novice, I'd feel the same. Not exactly off to a smashing start.

shopafrolic · 17/01/2014 18:08

Rubbish Novice hope he's not in the pub......

shopafrolic · 17/01/2014 18:12

Good thing I didn't try the dress on in front of DH - he'd have been Hmm. I'm sending it back. Those who have met me - if you ever see a black / other going out type dress around the £100 - £150 mark that you think could work then let me know? Thanks

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 17/01/2014 18:24

Oh no shop, how disappointing.

Novice that's shoddy.

Just remembered I got some samples of the Dior Nude BB cream to try today - I read somewhere that it's one of the best. Has anyone tried it?

shopafrolic · 17/01/2014 19:15

Bloody love you lot BTW. Just packaged up the dress with a great big smile on my face. In the old days I'd have kept it...... Thanks

shopafrolic · 17/01/2014 19:15

Did he turn up Novice?
