Not great reductions though

I've been waiting for it!!

RubyLovesShopping · 06/01/2014 23:24

Me too. For ages. Unfortunately nothing I want is reduced.

ShyGirlie · 06/01/2014 23:32

Reductions are pathetic! Hardly the up to 50% off as advertised! I can hardly see 50 off on anything. Sad

intheround · 06/01/2014 23:35

I'm watching the thing on BBC1 about sales. To advertise as "up to 50%off" only 10% of the stock needs to be marked down that way.

ShyGirlie · 06/01/2014 23:36

that explains a lot, round!

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 06/01/2014 23:38

That's disappointing!I actually can't see anything that's 50% off

ShyGirlie · 06/01/2014 23:43

me either!! oh well, ordered a full price scarf and a dress with a measly £15 off. If even slightly unsure about them when they arrive, they will be going straight back.

scripsi · 06/01/2014 23:51

Nothing I waited for is reduced. Are there any active discount codes?

CambridgeBlue · 06/01/2014 23:54

What a crap sale! Hardly anything reduced and only by a few quid if it is. Really disappointed - wish I hadn't bothered staying up. I saved all my Xmas money for this but there's nothing worth ordering :(.

scripsi · 06/01/2014 23:56

Like you CambridgeBlue I saved my Christmas money for this sale - drat.

ShyGirlie · 07/01/2014 00:02

has anyone had any success? i'm off bed now, wish i hadnt bothered to stay up! Nite all.

Cruze · 07/01/2014 00:56

Disappointed. Definitely they're worst sale, but on the plus side I haven't spent any money!

Tweet2tweet · 07/01/2014 06:55

Rubbish

Tweet2tweet · 07/01/2014 06:55

Nothing at all, hardly worth checking

Flossiechops · 07/01/2014 07:17

Completely agree - the only items that are heavily discounted are last summers items (with a few winter 2012 thrown in!) tbh I have found the quality of Hush very disappointing but the style is just up my street.

Bumblebzz · 07/01/2014 07:26

It is disappointing. Perhaps they aren't doing too well and have too much stock leftover and cant afford to heavily discount.
I expect they will announce furher reductions in Jan, I just checked my records (email receipts!) and last year I bought the Amy dress for £30 in late Jan. plus a few other items (snoods) were cheaper by then. Amazing they can charge top prices on what is essentially the exact same stuff one year later...

Madamecastafiore · 07/01/2014 07:35

Bloody stayed up too, now am knackered with small baby to look after. May have to have a nap!

Am hoping that they have a sample sale and will save all if my money for that.

I only wanted harems, jumpers and wrist warmers too.

Rosie70 · 07/01/2014 07:41

Yes it's really stingy and now I'm annoyed I didn't buy what I wanted last week at 20% off (not in sale). Do they often do 20% off? And when/where is the sample sale? Thanks x

zgaze · 07/01/2014 08:11

Yes it's rubbish, I always buy my annual pair of harem trousers in the sale but for the first time ever they're not half price. They are nice but not worth £50 so there's no way I'd pay full price for them. Very disappointing all round really, usually there's some other good stuff marked right down but not this time.

plentyofsoap · 07/01/2014 08:18

I was not impressed only got a long vest in the end.

MakeTeaNotWar · 07/01/2014 08:54

I bought the ruched skirt as its been such a hit on MN but there's only XS left so I expect it will go back. Also bought the poncho in camel. Was hoping for a Henley dress but reduction is too stingy

OP posts:
Hopasholic · 07/01/2014 09:20

I bought the cappuccino poncho and a dress (Rosie?) the one with the skirt attached as I had them on my wish list. I will have to love them to keep them though!

Mrsdp123 · 07/01/2014 09:26

It was a bit pants. I bought some long vests (found if I added one in the sale plus 2 normal priced ones it reduced those as well to £17.50) and 2 fine knit jumpers. They had better not reduce things again later on, although I fear this may be the case as this is by far their worst sale to date....

Naicecuppatea · 07/01/2014 09:43

Oh no! Just trying to place an order and it seems MUMS13, the mumsnet code that allows free delivery, can't be used :(

LittleG69 · 07/01/2014 09:53

I was disappointed too. I ordered the Rosie dress with the 20% code a week or so ago and it's so lovely that I planned to order another in the sale but it's not been reduced enough yet.

If you order through Topcashback you get 12% cashback though and they pay out really quickly. The £6.30 I earnt on the Rosie dress is already payable in my Topcashback account Smile
