I have some Christmas money to spend and I really like this cardigan here

Do you think its Mumsy? I love the colour (chutney).

I love it. But I am a cardigan fiend.

I don't really know what mumsy is, you could for example wear this with silver leggings and converse ankle boots - that wouldn't be mumsy!

MrsSteptoe · 05/01/2014 12:02

It wouldn't look good on me, but I'm 5'2" and not as slim as I used to be (though I'm still a borderline 10/12 depending on the label!). I'd look shapeless. I do agree with you on the colour, though.

BananaNotPeelingWell · 05/01/2014 12:03

Very nice! I love the colourSmile

FrancesFarmer · 05/01/2014 13:13

I love that colour. It could be mumsy if you wear it with frumpy clothes but I think it will be fine if you wear it with flattering items.

fedup21 · 05/01/2014 13:19

I agree with the other posters-it depends on what you wear it with. Nice boots and a chunky necklace and I think it will look fab. I like it; the blue one is nice, too.

burnishedsilver · 05/01/2014 13:20

Hate the colour, but maybe it would look fantastic on your colouring. It would make me look ill.

Aquelven · 05/01/2014 13:24

Lovely.
The colour would look awful on me but I do like it if you can wear that colour, lovely warm shade.

Annianni · 05/01/2014 14:02

It's lovely. I'd happily wear the silver with skinny jeans and nice boots.
I'd order a larger size so it was a bit slouchy.

Financeprincess · 05/01/2014 14:52

Don't buy it. Don't buy it. I repeat, don't buy it.

It is indeed mumsy. Also, never wear a colour called 'chutney'!

Ifancyashandy · 05/01/2014 14:55

Ooh. No. I would think I were faced with a woman who had 'given up' on clothes if I saw someone wearing that. Not my taste at all. And the colour reminds me of baby poo.

But the again, I think that of all cardigans. Nasty things.

vestandknickers · 05/01/2014 14:57

Its lovely. Buy it!

Fairylea · 05/01/2014 15:00

Love it!

Hopasholic · 05/01/2014 15:02

It looks boxy, doesn't look boxy on the model but it could be pinned back. I think there are more flattering cardis out there tbh.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 05/01/2014 15:06

Absolutely hate it, sorry. It looks like the sort of thing my (morbidly obese) RE teacher would have worn.

SeaDevilscanPlay · 05/01/2014 16:32

What about the Kelsey cardigan @ Fatface?

I cant link to it, but its easy found in their knits section.

I think it's less mumsy in the other colours - the cedar or the silver.

I couldn't pull it off, I think it may work best on teen/early 20s ingenue types with a Bloomsbury print dress and biker boots. (Or 60something artists).

HyvaPaiva · 05/01/2014 17:36

Get it in cedar, it's lovely.

The chutney? No no no no. The colour changes the cardigan completely for me, it looks dated, drab and quite ugly in chutney. The silver's too lifeless for me. But the cedar is rich and classic.

lurkingaround · 05/01/2014 17:41

I don't like it. At all. Sorry. I can't imagine it looking non-frumpy.

ButICantaloupe · 05/01/2014 17:42

It's awful. Really, really awful and I love cardigans.

PastaandCheese · 05/01/2014 17:47

Personally I don't like it.

beatofthedrum · 05/01/2014 17:51

I'm afraid I don't either.

fivegolddeblooms · 05/01/2014 17:52

I think it looks like diarrhoea, sorry.

CaroBeaner · 05/01/2014 17:54

I love it!

BikeRunSki · 05/01/2014 17:55

I like it, but non of the colours. It's Seasalt, it will last forever.

BunnyLebowski · 05/01/2014 17:56

It's horrible.
