Looking for suitable face wash for DD10, want to start good habits

My 10 year old dd is in early stages of puberty, and noticed she is beginging to get few little blackheads and the odd tiny little pimple around nose!

She has very dry skin and is prone to very rough dry patches especially in winter (just like I did growing up) so looking for something easy for her to use thinking maybe a face wash and possibly a moisturiser though nothing to harsh that's going to make her skin worst

Any ideas?

That is interesting that it's gentler than HCC. Just a heads-up that the B micellar water from Superdrug currently has 1/3 off and is £3.32. Seems like a bargain!

Surely "gentler" is meaningless in this context?

curlew · 06/01/2014 18:18

As is "natural" and "not to many chemicals"!

"Gentler" = much less likely to irritate or redden the skin

My eldest is a boy, and yes I have introduced him to skincare. He's just 13, and hit puberty last year. He has his own face wash and La Roche Posay Effaclar toner and Duo cream. DD is 10, and as soon as she hits puberty I will do the same for her. Hopefully she won't have the oily's like DS and me though.

Una Brennan skincare from Boots is also really good.
