Just back from a lovely boozy cocktails/dinner at Asia de Cuba and I am ready to go to bed but DH booked tickets for The Hobbit in 3D at midnight so I have to stay awake!

Sooo strange that I was in the same shops as amber and marsha today! Liberty, Selfridges, John Lewis

Apart from lots of skincare and make-up I haven't bought anything. Well, I did buy some TS skinnies.

Marylebone High Street was lovely as usual but Matches was a bit of a dissapointment.

I tried on a lovely navy Equipment blouse in Bond Street (forgot the name of the store) but the S was huuuge on me.

Feeling a bit frustrated!

Such a shame the sapphire and diamond ring I saw at Bentley and Skinner is not within budget

marsha yes,MK designed at celine for a few years,very successful too, he resurrected the brand. It was an old dying brand,known for scarves and small leather goods,but he turned it around, in no time,like Tom ford with gucci.

I know but I could cry it's getting scuffed. I need to upgrade! I could happily get trio, Lanvin ballet flats and petty boots each year. The shame!

I have to get an XS in Equipment Linus - funny that we were all in the same vicinity. I was the woman in the navy pea coat, Kenzo tiger tee and jimmy Choo glitter high tops trying to persuade an exuberant 2 year old girl not to touch all the dresses!

Arrived home to new White Co dressing gown. Am wearing over onesie and am delightfully warm.

That sleeveless jacket thing is like the Proenza Schouler one Carrie Bradshawe wore in the 1st SATCfilm where she is running up steps of the NYC public library to return books and gets the idea to have her wedding there. It's not Proenza, but is it this? It is described as rare on Ebay.

Linus i took husband to stay at The St Martins Lane for four nights about eleven yrs ago after I had moved back to East Anglia for a while. They must have thought we were hillbillies because we went to Kew and having taken stolen loads of cuttings, I had to store them in the cocktail glasses on the Phillip Starck desk in front of the all white floor length sheers. Dirt and compost everywhere .

Then I became constipated because the loo was in a barely there plastic cubicle in the open to the bedroom bathroom and I sure as hell was not going to drop one in the same room as him. Knew him well enough to sleep with him but NOT to be so overt in other ways!

Then we broke the colour change light display around the bed and after two nights and days of being bathed in Hooker red lights we broke and had to call maintenance.

Guests from hell we were. VERY large tip left.

There is a big Pierre Cardin on the Fabourgh st honore. The designs look really funny,kinda 60s space mod.my mum told me that back in the 70s it was all the rage to wear Pierre Cardin and dine at his resturant maxims, if you can't do either then you were not in style.!

Ah liberty was just wondering same about the navy! Am a 6-8 on top but currently nearer a 10-12 hips due to mince pie addiction.
Am very tempted, dh would go bananas with me.
But could eBay my jaeger one to help fund it. Hoping someone comes along and buys it to relieve me of this angst

Don't some designers do special lines for tk maxx? I'm sure I read that somewhere although could be making it up. Or it could be seconds or not high enough quality stuff to sell properly.
