Please please please help me find a grey bag for my mum

She's asked for one for christmas but I'm really struggling.

I'd like it to be leather and no more than about £150. She doesn't want a large bag but bigger than a clutch one, probably about 25cmish wide. Ideally a shoulder bag.

I'm really really struggling. I liked this one but it is slight too big really and also the online reviews are bad:

I really liked this one, yesterday it was £118 on John Lewis but is more expensive today! I'm gutted, I was going to order it!

I'm cross that the smaller shoulder bag seems more expensive everywhere! It was £118 on John Lewis last night but has gone to £169 this morning. I don't know why unless the £118 was an error. There is a smaller grab bag but it's still a fair size.

When she said she wanted a grey bag I thought it would be easy. I was wrong.

Grey bags are really hard to find. I've just done extensive research myself and got this one. Probably too big for your mum though.

Why didn't I order the John Lewis one last night, why?! I put it in my basket but didn't check out.

That's the trouble queen they seem to be about £15 and horrible, in my price range but huge or about £1000 but lovely.

Because my mum is so petite she only ever really has smallish bags otherwise they swamp her. But the fashion seems to be that they're all quite big.

Ooooh that might be a possibility. It says the width is 43cm but that can't be right! On the model it looks about the right size.

I like that one, think my mum might like the colour of the second one best. The other one is maybe more silver? It's hard to tell online the exact colour.

Sorry for hijacking but can I ask, QueenCadbury, what is the banana republic bag like? Is the leather reasonably soft? Is it actually grey, the picture is beige on my phone? I like it a lot.
