Please please please help me find a grey bag for my mum

She's asked for one for christmas but I'm really struggling.

I'd like it to be leather and no more than about £150. She doesn't want a large bag but bigger than a clutch one, probably about 25cmish wide. Ideally a shoulder bag.

I'm really really struggling. I liked this one but it is slight too big really and also the online reviews are bad:

I really liked this one, yesterday it was £118 on John Lewis but is more expensive today! I'm gutted, I was going to order it!

White stuff have an understated, small x-body bag at around the £55 mark, think there is 20% off too. But maybe not quite 'presently' enough, given your budget? White stuff Arabella It's 26cms. Actually they have a few grey bags, but they are quite casual.

You'd have to wait for it to come from the US and too £££ again (about £170 after duties and delivery cost but lovely.

If the difference of £25 makes the difference, I think I'd do it. Could you call it a joint Xmas and birthday present?

I suppose I was thinking if I got her a bag for about £150 I could get her something small from ds too, my dad has a main gift and then something from ds. But if the bag was £175 then that would have to be IT!
I really like the Alice Temperley one.

John lewis have been price matching- with Debenhams, I think- hence the price change. There are usually a number of them at this time of year- they will also match with House of Fraser who also do Modulu (I think)- so keep a look out for them having a 25% off day (you might be lucky, there may be one this week)and JL will automatically match again online.
