I'm doing ok, apart from the Nutella habit.

B: coffee with milk x 2, then some cheese and an orange (i know, no fruit etc, but I find that so hard)
L: ham and mozzarella 'pizza'
D: pork belly with turnip (swede for you Englanders Smile) and carrot mash

ijustwanttobeme · 04/12/2013 23:35

Scrambled egg for brekkie

Hunter chicken for lunch

A couple of olives and cubes of cheese as a snack

Pork belly and some veg for dinner

Had two squares of Baileys chocolate at work-bought without thinking whilst mooching the shops at lunchtime. Gave rest of the bar to colleagues as would have eaten the lot otherwise !

Not lost weight yet, so need to be stricter with myself. Drinking lots of water though.

Ruprekt · 05/12/2013 14:10

Water everyone! Grin

6lbs off since Monday....tummy definitely flatter.

Had sausages with 2 poached eggs and coleslaw this morning.

Water and coffee.

Feeling good.

ijustwanttobeme · 05/12/2013 19:55

Ham and eggs this morning

A couple of premium burgers and salad tonight.

Nearly done 2l of water.

Oh, I did have one super duper chocolate at work - popped it in before realising- although did refuse homemade cake, which shocked my colleagues somewhat!

Valdeeves · 05/12/2013 20:26

Had my hair done today but I'm not convinced - too dark

OP posts:
ijustwanttobeme · 05/12/2013 21:24

Hmm, I had my hair cut yesterday and I'm not convinced on mine either. It's my usual style but there's something not quite right about it.

Probably the grey poking through - so am dyeing that out tomorrow.

Had brows done today. Right in the middle of Debenhams, do wasn't having tache done for all to see. Will do it myself - also tomorrow, as have day off.

Ruprekt or anyterms of fish; can I eat smoked mackerel or kippers?

ijustwanttobeme · 05/12/2013 21:25

Last paragraph should say:

ruprekt or anyone else: in terms of fish etc etc

Ruprekt · 05/12/2013 21:27

Yep to smoked fish! Eat lots of it with veggies.

Yum!

Ruprekt · 07/12/2013 15:02

Mmmmm.....methinks you must all be gorging on carbs..... Where are you?

weekendninja · 07/12/2013 23:53

I'm still here and thinking of starting Monday. I am worried that I will put on weight with all of the fat so it feels like a leap of faith. I remember trying no carbs years ago and i couldn't eat any carbs so I'm a little confused. Most importantly, can I do cheese?!

I'm in !
Have been trying to wean myself off the carbs for weeks now ( TOTAL carb addict )
But Ruprekt is making this look a lot easier !
My stomach is the worst bit, everything else is bigger than it should be but relatively toned ( so says my Pilates instructor !)
The big tum is really getting me down and all my lovely sparkly Christmas clothes look shit pulled over a flabby belly ... I'm thinking the bloating must go down with no carbs ?

So can I eat salad ? ( don't like fruit or fruit juices anyway ) and most veg ? Leaving out potatoes, pasta, rice ?

Love dairy and eggs and I eat fish & meat ... This should be quite easy ? Right ?

DuchessFanny · 08/12/2013 10:19

I need to ask ... What do you do when desperate for a g&t on a sat night ? It's full of sugar yes ? So no alcohol at all ? Can you drink tea and coffee ?

Ruprekt · 08/12/2013 19:45

Yes to tea and coffee. Milk is carby and no sugar in drinks.

Had a mushroom omelette for lunch.

Fizzy water. Roast for dinner with mashed swede instead of potatoes.

Was out for dinner yesterday but did ok and had no alcohol.

SmileSmile BrewBrewThanksThanks Keep the faith people and drink some water!

PrimalLass · 09/12/2013 09:52

Feeling motivated today. I started back on the Shred - done and dusted before my shower and the school run. It's the only way I can make myself do it, as if I am already showered and hair done etc there is no way I will go and get sweaty again.

B: 2 x coffee, 1 x protein shake with an egg in it.
L: bacon and scrambled egg
D: 'spag' bol, but with either courgette noodles instead, or baked in a red pepper with mozzarella.

PrimalLass · 09/12/2013 09:54

I'd have one, but with slimline tonic. Still naughty, but gin is about the best for low carbing.

DuchessFanny · 09/12/2013 13:13

Thanks primal !

CareerGirl01 · 09/12/2013 13:58

What about Food Doctor 'diet' does involve thinking about what you eat - rather than cutting out whole food groups which is lazy and not sustainable. And it can be done while breastfeeding!
