so no time to eat much. Going to start drinking water now while I organise the kids dinner.
Looking pretty hagged today - once kids are in bed will have a shower and moisturise!
How's everyone else been today?

Was planning to do this anyway but feel I should take the opportunity I have been struck down with the norovirus as a good kick start Hmm

Fuem · 02/12/2013 17:43

Babybel, full fat cream cheese and full fat yogurts? I love cheese and creamy yogurts so perhaps I should give this ago. What are the daily limits to these, just is I don't pig out!

JustLikeHeaven · 02/12/2013 18:17

Could I join you please.

I recently put up a thread asking. . Have I left it too late??? To lose weight feel better by Christmas for a fancy party

I Started about two weeks ago and can see a change.

I am low carbing, drinking water . . Lots of it. . . Green tea, no junk. . I Did have a blow out at the weekend though. I was off dairy too but found that too difficult.

I have lost 4 lbs and my skin is clearing up.

I also did the 30 day shread. . Only four times. . Will start that again tmrw.

It would be great to check in here and encourage each other. better to make some effort now . . . It will make a difference

Ruprekt · 02/12/2013 18:38

ijustwanttobeme · 02/12/2013 19:53

Had some cheese as a snack earlier. Can I eat low fat cheese- it's all we have atm. No sugar content.

Did 45 minute exercise DVD, and now waiting for dinner: chicken, cauliflower cheese and broccoli

Haven't drunk 2l water though. Will try and do that by time I go to bed ( then be up all night going to the loo :))

Valdeeves · 02/12/2013 19:55

Ruprekt so glad you are to do the low info - the most important thing is not to cheat!
Am currently stuck in the nursery with a baby in the dark, with my other child sitting in the corner as they don't want to go to bed alone.
We've had a full on day and I need these kids in bed!!!

I can't diet lake but I am jogging with the pram then doing weights in the park before she wakes up. Managing Shiva Rea's post natal yoga and Tracy Anderson's post natal DVD. Need to get checked out as my c section area is twinging making me nervous of doing my abs

Valdeeves · 02/12/2013 20:12

The shred is really good - I would reccomend it.

I'm really struggling with drinking enough water. By the time I have made sure everyone else is ok (especially my toddler), I seem to forget to drink. Might have to get a water bottle.

Ruprekt · 02/12/2013 22:21

Water is a pain to drink!

Butter and water are the keys to this weightloss. Smile Odd but true.

LakeFlyPie · 02/12/2013 22:44

I'm intrigued by the low carb WOE but not sure if I could sustain it long term.
Have always eaten loads of fruit so that would be a huge change and it would mean me eating differently to DC and DP (who I can't see giving up carbs). It would be such a huge change in mindset eating so much fat Shock
I've previously lost weight successfully with SW and swimming 3-4 x week (both of which have slipped recently hence my 7lb weight gain).
If I could just cut the crap and get exercise going for now I might give a Low Carb bootcamp a go in the New Year.

Have had a more controlled day eating wise today, I think a ham omelette for breakfast helped a lot (broke my recent porridge and toast habit) and have made a concerted effort to drink more water.
Will try and get to the pool tomorrow evening.

Frittata and coleslaw at 11am

Fizzy water and pork scratchings

Tonight is stuffed pork with celeriac mash and broccoli Smile

CooEeeEldridge · 03/12/2013 19:04

Can I join you too please? Have super glam Christmas Eve meal and also loads on the week before. I'd like to lose a couple of pounds before then but more concerned with not putting any weight on in run up and generally looking a but more glam!

Ran 5 miles earlier and off to do combat now, unfortunately also are 6 cadburys flake cakes earlier. Really need to knock the sweet stuff on the head!!!

Valdeeves · 03/12/2013 19:25

Hi everyone - not had an über low carb day as it was my little ones nativity so had some mince pies!
Going to have a some low carb sausages and cauli mash for tea and drink some water.
Haircut and colour booked - I really want that Sarah Jessica Parker colour but not sure it'll work on my hair.

OP posts:
LakeFlyPie · 03/12/2013 21:12

Not a perfect day food wise but lots more water than recently and managed to get a 30 min swim in this evening.
Threading evening tomorrow.

ijustwanttobeme · 03/12/2013 21:23

The day started well with scrambled egg and smoked salmon.

Then during day ate 4 babybels and 3 Pepperamis!

DP cooked dinner which was a vegetable stew - but had 'wrong' veg in it, so overcompensated with bread !!

I then thought stuff it, so carb loaded.

Now feel like crap :(

Will start over tomorrow.

On a positive, I did drink my two litres of water :)

ijustwanttobeme · 03/12/2013 21:29

Hair appt booked for tomorrow and threading due on Thursday.

cafecito · 03/12/2013 21:49

shred is on youtube for free, so never an excuse Grin

I will start good behaviour tomorrow. after a year of eating rubbish and the past month or so ADDICTED to hot chocolates, massive lattes, crisps, pasta, pizza, sweet and sour anything and ALL the chocolate biscuits I could carry home from waitrose

I am staging an intervention. but not tonight, tomorrow..

weekendninja · 04/12/2013 00:20

ruprekt Am I right in thinking that I can have any meat or fish with any amount of the vegetables that you put up thread? Also, can I eat any amount of those snacks? With the full fat yoghurt is it the normal fruity ones?

Sorry for all the questions!

Ruprekt · 04/12/2013 07:59

Weekendninja.....any meat with any of the veg I posted. No limits.

Ff yoghurt WITHOUT fruit!!

Sugar is an addiction. You must cut it out or this will not work.

I have lost 5lbs since Monday.

Meals for today....

Water
Broccoli soup
Sausages and coleslaw
Chilli with cauli rice

SmileSmileGo and drink a glass of water now!

Ruprekt · 04/12/2013 08:00

And any amount of those snacks.....watch the dairy though.

weekendninja · 04/12/2013 14:16

Thanks ruprekt, that weightloss is impressive. I'm going to give this a try tomorrow.
