Are J Brand skinnies worth the money?

Basically that's it. Do they keep their shape or sag at the knees? I've done some googling but thought I'd ask here too before I spend the money!

I have a pair of dark blue J Brand 811s in a size 26 waist that I want to sell if anyone's interested. Paid £200 in Trilogy for them, wore them once, realised skinnies are really not for me. They are very stretchy, I am a normal size 10 so would normally get 27 inch waist but in this style the 26 was the right size. PM me if interested.

28" inseam, is what I read for the 811s, which is ankle length isnt it? That's what attracted me to them (hate having jeans taken up) so I hope so! I'm only 5'5.

Sounds like the size 10s are getting 27 or smaller. I really do need to try them on. Thanks for the info everyone!

The length of the 811s sounds great for tucking into ankle boots. My other skinnies are all bunched up at the ankles, not a good look. I've decided to forgo buying them online for a trip to a Donna Ida store to try them and a few others on - at that price I want to make sure they fit.

Wearing some as I type. Great jeans. I'm 5.6 and I find the length perfect but I have a v short back and v long legs. Normally proportioned people might find them long.
Can't beat trying them on - when they fit they fit and it is such a personal thing. Hth

I just got a pair of photo ready 811's (tried on in Selfridges £215, bought from Shopbop £118+a bit of tax.) I love them. I have other jbrands too (coated, suede and white 811's) and definitely rate them. I am a size 8 and wear 26, same as Gap and Current Elliot for me.

So tempting.. I see that Selfridges have 20% off at the moment too!

Re. IDA - I have the mabel and the uptown girl. For me they're better than the 811 as higher rise and hold in the oh so attractive muffin top I'm currently sporting

I have photo readies and love them, great fit. Also like Current/Elliott and Goldsign a lot.
