This one. It's so soft and goes with basically everything in my wardrobe. Reckon I'm going to be wearing jeans even less now. And you can ruche it up to mini length or down to reasonably smart just-above-knee length.

I like mine but it rides up to obscene heights.

Really? I find mine rides up slightly but a lot less than my non-ruched tube skirts.

I did have to go up a size bigger than usual for it it to be comfy on the waist - maybe that's why it stays down.

What is the difference between the two colours on the link you posted - they both look black to me with one being err blacker?

Don't know - I have the black one - they do both look black to me.

The shadow swatch picture looks like a bitter chocolate kind of colour on my screen?

I've just emailed them to ask, because I'd be tempted to get the shadow one if it's dark grey.

Blimey that was quick! Just had a reply saying it's an off black – more brown than grey in tone.

I got size S/M which is meant to be a 10/12, but I'm usually an 8 (or a 6 in vanity sizing), so maybe size up. Although tbh there wasn't much difference in size between the XS and the S/M apart from the S/M being more comfortable.

Oh I like that. Could you wear it with knee length boots? And would it disguise a bit of a tummy .... or do the complete opposite (reasonable slim size 10 everywhere else!)?

Yes I think the ruching disguises a bit of tummy MrsM. It makes your bum look nice too - mine's a bit on the flat side and it gives it more perkiness. I don't have any knee boots apart from my furry winter ones (which would def not go). You might need to ask the boot experts! I wear mine with flat shoes or biker boots.

I also loved this but I am a pretty standard size 12 and found the 10/12 too small and the 14/16 too big so had to send it back :( I also thought it was a great go-with most things skirt. I had the shadow and the black to see and, to me, the shadow seemed a v dark grey

I have the shadow and I would describe it as dark brown - it's a great shade.

It looks like an (as was Isabella Oliver) Baukjen ruched dress thing to me. What is the material like - is it thick?

Reasonably thick but not as thick as the dress you're thinking of. I prefer this material though, the Baukjen dress/skirt version doesn't sit as well on me and is much too long and too ruched.

I am tempted, but just had a baby so promised myself I would wait a while before shopping....

Wonder if they'll be replenishing the other sizes in the shadow shade...

They might Leo as the black had sold out a few weeks ago and now it's back :)

I gave them a ring and they found me a spare shadow skirt in my size, even though they were showing out of stock on the website - very helpful customer service.

Just ordered shadow. Almost did a few weeks ago when first saw skirt on mumsnet. Damn style and beauty costs me a fortune!
