They need to be warm, warm, warm and preferably ankle height, like bootees. Not Ugg style as I want to curl up indoors with them on.

Toasty warm and snugly, i put off going out because I can't bear to take them off.

I'm a slipper supremo. I pay the kids a pounds to go up two flights of stairs if I left them in my bedroom when we get in.

Those boden ones will be synthetic and make your feet sweaty.

Sheepskin is the ONLY slipper.

Celtic sheepskin have the best slippers in the world. They do a bootee style. You will never leave the house again :o

Thick felt ones made by a lady in Latvia on etsy. They have a non slip sole that is a super thin layer of rubber, are breathable, natural, cosy and gorgeous. Her shop is called DMpics, sorry can't link but the whole family is wearing them!

Boden velvet slippers with bows. Was very lucky to receive these as a christmas present last year and they are as good as new nearly a year on. Worth every penny, the soles are leather and have worn well on our stone and wooden floors so if you have carpet they will last years. Just had a sniff and although they aren't real sheepskin they are good high quality fake and don't smell!! Go for it you won't be dissapointe.

I like these by moshulu because they have a decent sole so I can pop outside to the bin etc...

Sheepskin yes but I prefer Shepherd to Celtic

I've had both shepherd and Celtic. Prefer sole on Celtic as it's lighter. Plus much funkier style and colours and last longer. I'm a sheepskin nut.

These are what I have. Once I'm home, they're on my feet. I've been wearing them for years. I try cheaper slippers but nah, no good. It does help that I can get them posted cheaply/free to Europe via BIL, they do need to be replaced regularly enough. But even with added postage they are fab fab fab. Possibly my favourite item of clothing.

I have Nordikas natala which are my everyday slippers ,( but not their bootee ones which i dont like much)..I have some nice celtih sheepskin bootees though
