So,I got my M&S [blush[ boots today. They're darker than expected -more of a red brown, burgundy in some lights, rather than the more tan colour shown on the site. That kinda throws previous plans out of the window!

So,I need to know what colour tights (and trousers?) will work best.

I also need to decide on jacket colour as was about to order a red one (so I'm not dull and boring!)

Need a new bag (thinking tkmaxx for price!) but not sure on colour.

Also need a nice winter scarf.

I have pale skin,green/brown mix eyes and hair is currently flaming copper in the sun and darker in duller light!

They're nice - they'd look good with dark blue jeans no? Also lighter ones, and tight-wise either a burgundy, minky-brown (think woolly/lacy not american tan) or maybe navy? White Stuff had some lovely patterned ones that could work.

Green Jacket would be nice, but a bit Barbour maybe - I'd be tempted to look at Boden, they usually have things in slightly more interesting colours without making you look like a four year old....they are a bit expensive though, so could try their outlet shop on eBay.

Sorry, that's all I've got, but saw you'd had no takers so it's a bump too. If I think of owt else I'll post more Smile

depends what colours suit you - eg if you suit burnt orange etc then do that - I can't really see the colour.

I'd sort of be tempted to do browns/maybe greens - totally unsure re scarf or jacket.

do you want a warm scarf or cotton printed one - with those I'd suggest cream/ecru or greens - if you don't mind it you could also find a scarf with red colour of boots in it. I'd say no to red jacket maybe navy? also think about quilted rather than waxed. I tend to veer wildly away from waxed unless you're country girl.

H&M do some nice wool tights - ribbed etc - got some lovely forest green ones last year but they seem to be remiss as are M&S in nice coloured one this year.

maybe Accessorize?

when I got navy and leather suede boots last year from Office - I didn't fuss re what to wear them with until a friend said navy. In summer I treated myself to suede/leather tote bag and navy purse (in sale) which goes with them.

Hmm,thanks.I was looking at Navy jackets originally but being very pale (and even more pale when winter sets in!) it can look a little odd.Maybe a scarf could change that?

Liking the tights suggestions Smile

I decided to go with waxed because it's waterproof and I can't do quilting as it looks daft in my busty hourglass figure, which sucks really! It is belted though and has leather trims on pockets etc with the colours it doesn't look too country.

Will look at the colour of the jackets again, the one I was looking at comes in red,a blue and 'chestnut'.I just have to be careful of not looking too pale so tend to need some colour near my face.

oh sorry saw your looks - I don't really know what suits your colouring as don't know anyone with it...

I'm curvy and just bought navy Massimo Dutti padded jacket but then again I wanted one. If you're fine with waxed do that. but I think Barbours unless you're in country with horses/dogs etc aren't worth the money for city... but just me!

I have odd colouring!LOL

Sounds like fab colouring to me!

Greens will be good, as would most warm/autumnal shades, you sound like http://www.thechicfashionista.com/autumn-color-analysis.html an Autumn
