I usually get changed into jeans & t shirt but wondering what others wear?
Jeans sometimes feel uncomfortable for lounging around.

Jersey harems from next, a primary l/s t and a cashmere long cardi. Woolly socks too.

I call the stuff I wear whilst loafing my "soft clothes."
So not normally jeans unless they are very very well worn and definitely not skinnies. Normally track suit bottoms or leggings. A vest and then a soft jumper or cardi. Often I can just be found in my pyjamas. They are the softest of all my soft clothes.

Horsemad · 27/10/2013 22:56

Cardiff, I love 'soft' clothes! Love my jammies too & get into them early some nights. Grin

Soft lacy vest, cashmere cardis (sales booty) and knitted longjohns or loungepants. Try to avoid tracky bottoms!
Celtic sheepskin boots in winter, Birkis or fitflops in summer.

Bra off!

beanandspud · 27/10/2013 23:10

'Comfy clothes' in this house. Usually yoga pants or pyjama bottoms and a couple of layered vest tops. Cardi and/or fleecy socks if it's cold.

MortifiedAnyFuckerAdams · 27/10/2013 23:13

Pj bottoms. Tbf im at work all sorts of random.hours, so.rarely spend more than an hour in my hpuse at a time (bar sleep).

I have a habit of putting pj bottoms and a vest on in the morning, then swapping to skinny jeans and a jumper to go out, swapping back when I get home.

Same stuff as I wear for the rest of the day.....

I can't bear to be uncomfortable.

steppemum · 27/10/2013 23:35

Never really got this.

OK, so i am a SAHM and not working, so I am not in dressy work clothes, but I get dressed on morning into real clothes, jeans, shirts, jumper, or today casual skirt, top, boots, and then I wear those clothes all day until bedtime and then put on my pjs to go to bed.

I do take off shoes and I do sometimes take off my jewellery.

SpookyRestingFace · 28/10/2013 00:26

My not-going-out-again-today uniform is:

Boden pull-ons
Soft pointelle top
Boden Skye jumper

I have all of the above in numerous colours, so there is always a clean set to put on. Instant comfort.

I then add:

Brora cashmere snood

  • if cold, Brora or Hush cashmere wristwarmers
YoureBeingAnAnyFuckerFan · 28/10/2013 00:36

I have a pair of baggy sweatpants and some sort of loose sweater type thing that belonged to my sister (wearing them now actually Grin) that i go for on days i know im not going anywhere (except the chinese take away or best friends)

StephenKatz · 28/10/2013 06:19

'Comfy pants' in our house - even my 3 year old likes to come in and put her comfy pants on Grin

Jogging bottoms or PJ bottoms, bra off (this is very important!!) and I tend to just keep whatever top I'm wearing on because they're usually comfy anyway. If I get cold I throw a thick long line cardi on.

StephenKatz · 28/10/2013 06:23

steppemum I'm a SAHM too but I usually wear skirts and tights rather than trousers and I just wouldn't be comfy lounging around in them. I'll just bet you're on the go until bedtime whereas I am a lazy cow go on strike after tea!

BillStickersIsInnocent · 28/10/2013 06:33

Cashmere mix harems, cashmere jumper, slippers.

RubyLovesShopping · 28/10/2013 06:40

Bill where did you get the cashmere harems from?

ushush · 28/10/2013 06:44

Our family habit for everyone is to always change into relaxed and comfortable clothes when we get home. Soft clothes of course, so vest style top and shorts, or if my bf around often one of his old soft formal shirts that I have borrowed that is baggy, dress like on me, which is an idea I borrowed from my mum..lol. We don't wear underwear at home. Comfort rules!

Thants · 28/10/2013 06:50

Pyjamas or naked! If I'm inside the house my bra is off.

Same here - both dd and I have a selection of comfy clothes for around the house. Sheepskin boots, leggings or pjs or yoga pants. I also have some fleece tunic type dresses from uniqlo that are really warm and comfy for winter. And yes, no bra!

Sounds like many of us have the same idea!

bleedingheart · 28/10/2013 07:27

Yoga pants, plain tee and grandad cardigan or over-sized jumper.
Can't relax in the evenings if I have my 'proper' clothes on!

chimchar · 28/10/2013 07:33

if i'm home for the day, but pottering about I dress properly but comfortably...leggings, dress/tunic, cardi, uggs.

once darkness arrives and I know no one is calling in, its BRT (bra removal time) and onesie on.

neither stylish or beautiful, but comfy as fuck! Halloween Grin

MuffCakes · 28/10/2013 07:43

Leggings and those bras that aren't bras just a strip of material but I can't spell it.
