I have black hair and eyebrows, very pale almost blue skin and dark green eyes with flecks of yellow and brown in them.

I have looked at examples online http://www.thechicfashionista.com/seasonal-color-analysis-2.html#Deep warmvscool Here but don't seem to fit one example - am somewhere between cool deep winter and clear deep winter... i.e. my skin is much paler than the examples of cool deep winter and my eyes are a bit darker than the examples of clear!

Any advice much appreciated Smile

Join the oddball club that I'm in! I could be a soft autumn but my skin can be cool at times lmao
I read that green, hazel, brown and gold flecks in eyes makes them warm.Does warm eyes mean warm?

You have lovely colouring though and are very pretty!

ArtemisatBrauron · 23/10/2013 12:09

Blush thanks trip is there a warm winter? Warm dark deep winter?? Argh!
I can't afford to go and have it done professionally and I don't fit any example I can find online, frustrating!

I don't fit either!I have very pale skin, kinda olive to brighter green eyes with a tiny bit of brown and sometimes a dark bluey rim.Natural hair colour is a darkish ash or golden brown (can't remember!).In some lights and pics I look warm and in others I look cool..eyes change colour depending on hair, light and clothes and I can pull off flaming copper hair.

I've decided that not everyone fits a season tbh!

You look like a winter to me (a very pretty one!) From the photo, your skin looks cool and combined with the dark hair and eyes, that can only mean winter as far as I know.

You don't really need to know exactly what kind of winter, IMO - just pick and choose the colours you like from the whole winter palette and (assuming you are a winter) you'll look radiant and pulled together :)

Go and get professional colour analysis - without, you might as well just choose a palette you like and stick to it. You can't know, with any degree of confidence, from a photo analysis.

Hey guys, thank you all so much for your tips and advice... I will add getting my colours done to my Christmas list! I have had an attack of paranoia about posting my pic on here and don't want to name-change so have asked for this thread to be removed so that my face isn't lurking on MN for ever Grin

Thanks again! Flowers
