Agreed! Pop up shop in Carnaby St, I bet he's not funding that!!

shopafrolic · 14/10/2013 22:46

Did they keep their tops on Dry or is it even bigger than that?

MarshaBrady · 14/10/2013 22:48

I know. And that massive studio in Chelsea. From a few tshirts I think not. Argh Louise. And Spencer.

MarshaBrady · 14/10/2013 22:48

Dry what happened? Hope not too bad.

shopafrolic · 14/10/2013 22:48

Bring back Caggie - I can't watch Louise for the entire series

BrandyAlexander · 14/10/2013 22:50

Urgh. Eaten so much! And Indian food too! What possessed me?Hmm

Drywhiteplease · 14/10/2013 22:59

Love Indian Novice....

Nothing insurmountable .....have tried to match existing wood floor but it looks bad...need to take up old and replace it. More cost but most important for me, more time, and have to tell builder tomorrow. DH is right though, we need it right. Just hope I can source more wood in time.

Parsons Green! I had an agency lunch there years ago and nearly knocked myself out drunkenly trying to get back into the cab at the end of the night. It might even have been that restaurant. Not big and not clever

libertychick · 14/10/2013 23:01

Was lovely seeing you today Sleep - for everyone else I can confirm that she looks as amazing on the SR as she does at a MU!!

Foxy big hugs - check in here whenever you can.

Those Choos are amazing but seriously can anyone walk in a 5 inch heel???? [hmmm]

This is the Birger dress I like Thanks for offering to have it sent to you Shop but it all just gets very complicated - and I think I have returned about 90% of what I have bought on the outnet in the past!! I had a potential Christmas MU in my head at the time but actually I'd like to go proper shopping for a dress.

Feeling a bit flat - had a meeting today and I know I left the person I met feeling crap - couldn't be avoided, had to deliver some tough messages about the future of her service and then this evening had a whole flurry of calls and emails which I can't get into as it would out me but all I will say is that I hope the thousands of camel fleas descend on a few people Grin ...one of these moments where I really wonder what I am doing with my life....

Anyway, happy fluffy stuff!! I am returning this M&S skirt. My usual 'if it fits on the hips it will be huge on the waist' issue. Totally inspired by Sleep looking great in this poncho I bought a (cheap) black poncho in Charli in Hamsptead - so tired right now that I cannot remember the brand!!!! They had a sample sale on. Will try and link tomorrow.

Had a little mooch around Question Air as well - loved the look of this dress and these ankle boots.

shopafrolic · 14/10/2013 23:03

It has to be perfect Dry otherwise you'll always be fed up with it.
Well my MiC craving has been sated, I'm off to bed. Night all.

libertychick · 14/10/2013 23:04

Novice how did the presentation go? I didn't get my report finished but managed to buy a bit more time.

LinusDKD · 15/10/2013 06:32

Morning!

Our internet was down last night, aaargh. I have realised I am ever so slightly addicted to the stuff and the relief of it being fixed this morning is enormous.

Will try and catch up during the day if DC will let me.

Drywhiteplease · 15/10/2013 07:07

liberty your job sounds tough......hope you get through today. So wish I'd spoken more to you on Saturday. Links are all fab.
Shop I know you're right it's just extra hassle! but will be worth it because the room looks fab already Smile

MarshaBrady · 15/10/2013 07:16

Liberty it sounds really tough. It's hard when you have to hold back on here too just in case. I hope your day today is better. Love the links.

I think I might pass on the boots of plastic. Too much going on. I need something, not too ££.

Annianni · 15/10/2013 08:10

I have some Mou boots that I wear in the snow. They are the warmest things ever. They are rather Ugg like, so you'd hate them Marsha :o

Hope you have a better day at work today Liberty Flowers

I'll watch MiC tonight with dh, I got him into it last series :o

shopafrolic · 15/10/2013 08:27

Morning all.
Liberty work sounds rotten - I hope it improves - I always used to hate being the bearer of the bad news (but was usually chosen as the one to deliver it). That dress is beautiful and I can totally see you in it. I love the back but YY to real life shopping for that - much more fun
Sorry to have thread hijacked with MiC but I do love the clothes as well as the cheese on there.......

BrandyAlexander · 15/10/2013 08:41

Poor you Liberty. Tough messages are the worst bit of my job too. My presentation went really well. Someone slipped me a note afterwards and talked about how insightful it was. Made me Smile. I hope your day is better today.

My outfit today is going to annoy me the whole day. I am going to be thinking "what were you thinking?".Angry Shoes, bag and coat are all wrong.

QueenCadbury · 15/10/2013 09:35

liberty 5 inches is far too much for me Wink. Sorry you had a crappy day. I love the outnet dress but I think dresses are difficult to buy online. Or maybe that's just me.

Am currently wearing my sports gear and about to go and meet my PT. Although I can hardly move after the circuits class I did yesterday Grin.

MarshaBrady · 15/10/2013 09:43

I'm really enjoying Grayson Perry lecture in R4. Very good.

Foxy how are you feeling today, lovely?

MarshaBrady · 15/10/2013 09:44

On

I love the dress Liberty.

Novice well done!

MrsRadicchio · 15/10/2013 09:50

Hello all, sorry for going to ground post MU - spent all day in the rain with the DC on Sunday and consequently felt rubbish the next day nothing to do with the copious amounts of processo, oh no

Liberty hope you have a better day today. Find it v interesting to talk work with you! Love a poncho too. Inspired by your hat, I have been looking at this - how do you know what size you are? Is it just a case of measuring your head??

Marsha I wear these boots for wet and cold weather. Based on what you pinned though they are probably too low.

Love the dubbary's Shop wears. Oh and before I forget, Shop I really love the cardi - it is like a sartorial hug. The top is actually a bit pale for me, think it may be a summer colour though I am sure I pinned it as not fully clear on colours yet. How did the C&P work out for you?

Sleep did you go to the stella and dot thing and did you buy anything? Really like their stuff. I completely missed your red jacket though I did glimpse the leather trousers!

Sleep and Mom I enjoyed the nutritional chat here and at the MU. Have abandonned 5:2 diet, think I just need to be a bit more mindful when eating but chocolate is such a comfort after a hard day with the dc!

Like most people at the MU I am going to buy some russian red lipstick inspired by how glam Mom looked!

Umlauf your ds is soo cute! Love that pic of both of you too. V Envy at the weather. My ds is an older baby - 10 months. Don't think I really have much style advice to share, I just always go for comfort and machine washability! Try to add interest with jackets / blazers and shoes / boots (but always wear flat). I like this kind of look

Re chelsea boots I read on S&B that they go pretty cheaply on ebay for esquetarian (sp?). I am bidding on a few, they have rubber soles too so I think v non slip. Maybe worth a punt?

Queen I don't get to the shops much but am planning a visit to Westfield in a week or so, if you haven't got your emerald cardi by then I can have a look for you. Is this top emerald green??

Dry love the shoes. So impressed you went shopping the day after the MU, enjoyed your description of your last visit to Hollister! Shame we weren't able to chat more.

Novice hope all is going well with house stuff.

One sounds like you did some good shopping on the way home!

Foxy hope you are feeling ok. Big respect for holding the fort while your dh is away so long - I really don't think I could cope!!

MrsRadicchio · 15/10/2013 09:53

I am considering these - agree with Dry on the need for a metallic shoe, I need flat though!

mignonette · 15/10/2013 10:03

Love to Liberty. Can hear the toll it took in your post. Hopefully your words will be taken on board even if they are hard to hear.

Novice How lovely to get that feedback. Always so much more meaningful to get a little private thumbs up even though claps and ovations are lovely too.

Foxy Have replied to your PM this morning. Hope you get a decent prescription and maybe a sports massage or some physio might help?

Had a late night flight yesterday as changed flight time. I am trying not to sound smug about sitting in 22 degrees of warmth in Spain. Giant grapefruit, Kumquat preserve and Tortas de Aceite for breakfast. Sleep I will look out for some Almonds to bring home after reading your advice. I also think that the more you have to chew something, the more satisfying psychologically it is and helps guard against emotional overeating.

Hoping to look at leather goods later and have a little architectural guided tour. I like using local university students to do this- they are glad to be paid too for sharing expertise.

Some huge bugs and lizards around. I suppose they are fat from a summer of feeding! Bit like I will be if I din't watch it.

Some gorgeous shoe lust on here. I have the Ombre Choos in yellow and black. They are lovely and get a lot of love from people. Have them with me now as the Spanish so love a good Choo/shoe Grin.

Annianni · 15/10/2013 10:36

Sleep... I need a word with you!!!!

I bought some omega 3's from sainsburys yesterday, and they are huge!
Seriously... Am I supposed to swallow them, or insert them somewhere?!

Also got some vit D's, which are tiny little things :o

MarshaBrady · 15/10/2013 10:37

MrsR I love those, I don't really need long ones. But think I want something with shearling. Hope you are feeling better now! I must admit I still felt off yesterday.

Love the metallic flats.

Mignonette lucky you! They are so nice. Have a fabulous time in Spain, I'm sure you will.

Anni I just checked out Mou (I don't mind Uggs, inside Grin) and they look great. I really like them. Which ones do you have?
