Linus I got the orgasm blusher for the rare nights out I have, that said, I've half considered giving it to my sister for christmas as I know she'll love it but I have time to buy another if I decide to gift her one

Umlauf · 13/10/2013 18:56

Urgh drywhite hollister&abercrombie are my worst nightmares! The perfume makes me retch!

I love the Nars lip pencils and my blusher is on its last legs so might try it out! Im a deep autumn though, what are you linus & onelittle ??

OneLittleLady · 13/10/2013 19:14

I think I'm somewhere in the winter pallettes Umlauf winter colours seem to be the ones that suit me best anyway

shopafrolic · 13/10/2013 19:15

I'm a deep Autumn Umlauf I wouldn't recommend either TBH. I use this blusher on the apples of my cheeks, and a matt Dior bronzer on cheekbones.

MarshaBrady · 13/10/2013 19:18

You've got fantastic make up Shop. Have been thinking about that Chanel stuff, pressed powder is that what they call it. Think I need some.

santamarianovella · 13/10/2013 19:20

linus im feeling very broody after seeing gorgeous baby bertie !

one lovely mango sweater, and if you want to get your sister a cheaper dupe for the nars blusher try mac springsheen, no difference at all,

LinusDKD · 13/10/2013 19:20

I think I'm a winter umlauf but I have never been diagnosed so I'm not sure.

Nars have so many lovely blushers maybe you can go to a counter and ask what would suit you.

santamarianovella · 13/10/2013 19:23

shop i have tried every bronzer out there and the dior ones are the best,

Umlauf · 13/10/2013 19:25

That looks nice shop but i dont think I can get it in Spain, it'll have to wait until Christmas! Maybe I can pick up a cheapo one in the meantime at Sephora... I quite like the Guerlain bronzers but fancy a blusher for winter. Im slowly replacing all my cool toned make up with autumn suitable colours as and when it runs out, any other recommendations?!

MarshaBrady · 13/10/2013 19:27

If anyone saw that funny sandwich on mnv I put it in the wrong place. Was meant for ds1's secret board!

santamarianovella · 13/10/2013 19:34

umlauf if the sephora branch in your city is a good one then, ask about visiting makeup artists,i had booked a session with an armani makeup artist 2 years ago in paris,i didnt like the foundations, but she chose a day blush and 2 lipsticks ,that i still use,and did another evening look, she was very informative.
mac do good makeovers too.

Sleepwhenidie · 13/10/2013 19:35

Aw - Bertie is so gorgeous umlauf Envy

My headache is just about gone Hmm. Very glad of a peaceful day here by myself. I have spent most of it studying but also squeezed in a nap and The Hunger Games film Smile. Great MU. liberty, re those glasses of sauv blanc, I bought a bottle, shared all of it between 3 of you, then QueenC did a runner and left hers shared between you and Mom so yes, they were pretty large! Sorry you were ill Sad. How was DH?

Queen did you get the spare room and pj's when you got back...and did you listen Grin?

I love Dior bronzers too, fabulous.

LinusDKD · 13/10/2013 19:38

umlauf do you have a Marionnaud in your town?

It is a French chain of perfume and make-up stores but they also have shops in Switzerland and they sell By Terry.

santa I am always dissapointed with Dior make-up but I will keep their bronzers in mind for next summer.

Funny sandwich. My imagination is going into overdrive marsha!

MarshaBrady · 13/10/2013 19:42

Ha Linus it was a sandwich that looked like a house. He was delighted to discover it after taking a few bites. So took a photo and pinned. He has cute stuff on there, upside down snow men, that type of thing.

shopafrolic · 13/10/2013 19:53

Marsha it's powder foundation

LinusDKD · 13/10/2013 19:54

Grin marsha that is so sweet.

I wish we had a Sephora where I live. I quickly popped into the Rome one but as DH was waiting outside I couldn't have a proper browse.

I did buy Nars eyelid primer and it is brilliant!

shopafrolic · 13/10/2013 19:57

Umlauf I don't tend to wear eye shadows, mainly liquid liner and lots of mascara and stronger lip but quite a lot of my bits and pieces are here

QueenCadbury · 13/10/2013 20:07

sleep dh was still up when I got home so I went to bed before before him and passed out before I had a chance to be a sex pest Grin

foxy I couldn't try on the heat tech stuff as it's all in packaging. The tee I bought is a small but you may get away with an extra small. I've decided I'll get some thermals in m&s instead so I can try on.

one I love that mango jumper and am tempted myself!

portia wrt to my purchases I'm afraid that I don't wear anything very excitingly. I'm very much a simple jeans girls. The pink jumper will be worn with blue or black jeans. The cobalt belt I love and wore today with navy jumper and jeans. I love a coloured belt to help lift an outfit and give a pop of colour.

liberty/mom I'm going to try Russian red too so I'm going to have to force myself into debenhams where our mac counter is. I hate debenhams as it always seems such an empty soulless store.

shopafrolic · 13/10/2013 20:14

Am having flashbacks to Sleep and I chatting at the bar while QueenC was modelling Liberty's hat

shopafrolic · 13/10/2013 20:20

SpaceNK deliver internationally BTW

Umlauf · 13/10/2013 20:31

Marrionaud rings a bell actually linus maybe we have one! If not we are 30mims drive from Biarritz so will try there next time or the galleries Lafayette perhaps. I would order online from space nk but I'd like to try the colours first.

Thanks for the link shop that is the nars lipstick I got recently but in cruella, I love it but not 100% sure it's an autumn colour. Is your eyeliner/mascara black then? I was thinking of switching over to dark brown. If I'm doing eyeshadow it's always brown and it looks softer on me.

shopafrolic · 13/10/2013 20:39

I wear black liquid liner, brown mascara and a dark green pencil liner (Chanel celadon). I would struggle to give up my black liner......

Drywhiteplease · 13/10/2013 20:42

Good god, I thought I was a hard core shopper but after 5hrs in 3 1/2" heels, Primark,New Look, H and M, Hollister Hellister! Oasis, Next and on and on ....I was on my knees.........."nooooo mooooore pleeeeease!"
Still, lovely day bonding. 13 is a difficult age to buy for.

I think I said I w looking for some silver stilettos and after seeing Sleep working her metallic Jcrews yesterday, I needed some even more .....fashion karma struck in HoF when these babies called me over! thanks v much! at £27 rude not to that fact that they will cripple me is insignificant

Also bought this for playground/rugby side lines....not v exciting, but washable, functional and cheaper than others leaving me £ to buy this lovely if I like it when I try it in Nov.
