haha love that dry! tbf DH is pretty good on not cutting corners on the final touches. he has actually driven up costs more than me by insisting that extra bits are done properly during this renovation. I shall use that bargaining at some point in the future!

hope weather is bright for you guys tomorrow. sorry to miss another meet up, it's just too chaotic here for me to leave. DH is digging out the patio ready for the slate to be re-laid once doors and windows have gone in.

Foxy I really like baseball style sweaters - JW one looks good. I tried a Hush Sloppy Joe a few months ago and I looked like the back end of a bus in it!!! That said, you are much slimmer than me, it was rather unforgiving of my saddlebags.

Pretty Marant top Linus but I don't do ruffles at all - it's definitely for the willowy boho types I think.

Went to M&S this lunchtime for a carrot salad and popped this skirt into the basket!! Haven't tried it on yet - it feels great and looks very well made. The cobalt and red versions are gorgeous too.

One I love the sound of your bear ear hat. I knitted a cat's ear one for my sister two winters ago. She loves it - don't worry, you won't get lost and people in London are generally very helpful with directions.

Today I am wearing Me & Em navy ruched skirt with boden s/s breton half tucked in, a very old (and much loved) Zara cashmere and silk mix dark grey boyfriend cardigan with black opaques and Whistles loafers. Feeling very snug and comfy.

libertychick · 11/10/2013 15:19

Well done on a successful swimming class Shop. DD has swimming lessons on a Friday morning too! She loves it but DH says she spends the entire time screaming at him to 'LET MY GO'. He reckons he might have to one of these days to to prove to her that she cannot actually swim yet!

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 11/10/2013 15:20

Foxy I like the baseball sweaters so much I already have the Jack Wills one (v comfy) and was looking at the Hush one this morning for DSis birthday!

Drywhiteplease · 11/10/2013 16:47

Weather not great in London, very woolly and rainy. And looks the same tomorrow. Boo.

Foxy love the tops!

MarshaBrady · 11/10/2013 16:58

lol Dry that is funny!

MarshaBrady · 11/10/2013 16:58

Great outfit Liberty.

OneLittleLady · 11/10/2013 17:01

dry you make me laugh Grin

BrandyAlexander · 11/10/2013 17:25

Weather is so rubbish! I rushed home to change clothes for tonight. Took 10 mins and now on train. Wearing a long sleeved lace dress. The sleeves are lace and front has rucking - good as 4 days in hotels not good! Jimmy Choo Mary Jane shoes, louboutin handbag and my £39.50 M&S shower resistant mac Grin

QueenCadbury · 11/10/2013 17:49

It absolutely cannot rain tomorrow. I've sprayed my suede boots. Will that stop them getting ruined if it does rain? Or will I be better in converse...?

I've had a couple of busy days. Went out last night and today have been to coffee and toddler group and then lunch with foxy. She looked very slim and gorgeous in her grey jeans. And you should totally have tried on the baseball sweater although you wouldn't have looked as good as your ds in the hat Grin.

novice that's the quickest house exchange I've ever come across!

dry hope you've had a better day. We'll cheer you up with prosecco tomorrow.

shop I think sometimes dc cry at nursery drop off just to make us feel guilty. If he's happy minutes later I wouldn't worry too much at although I know it makes you feel rubbish.

QueenCadbury · 11/10/2013 17:51

I'm optimistically going with the bbc firecast.

foxysocks · 11/10/2013 19:05

bwahaha! DS picked up this hilarious wide brimmed floppy hat and tried it on in a little boutique. he is his mother's son fo sho. the assistant was giggling at him as he admired himself in the mirror!

dry you are totally brilliant. good work on the cleaning.

you guys are great enablers. i LOVE them. the JW one is a little short on me - i tried it a few weeks ago - so I might try the hush, could wear over the all saints leggings that sleep has and I have my eye on, or tights or jeans I reckon. I didn't try on the one we saw today as it was mostly acrylic, hush one is mainly cotton iirc...

foxysocks · 11/10/2013 19:09

FIREcast?!

liberty the skirt looks lovely. what's the breton sizing like? I need a slouchy breton tee, and ideally I'd like it before Jan as that's when we leave for India. there is only a 14 left - would it be massive or nicely slouchy do you reck?

LinusDKD · 11/10/2013 19:17

foxy I love baseball sweaters and sweater dresses! Unfortunately they are for the long of limb, which I am not.

But they should suit you brilliantly as you have long slim legs.

dry that is so funny! Maybe all of you can pin your outfit on MNV for all of us stuck at home? Wink

mig safe travels!

OneLittleLady · 11/10/2013 19:22

How does Uniqlo sizing come up generally? I've never had any clothes from there but I've seen a few bits I quite like the look of but I have no idea what the sizing is like

shopafrolic · 11/10/2013 20:14

Have won my perfect mummy award. StickMan was amazing. DS sat in awe on my lap for the whole show - he loved it and has gone to bed saying how he's met Santa and his presents. Lovely meal out with his little buddy and my NCT mummy friend. Roll on tomorrow. I still have no clue what to wear and Dry your trip out made me laugh as I did much the same thing for the first MU I went to. All these clothes and nothing to wear.........

AmberNectarine · 11/10/2013 20:39

I have a Hush sloppy joe dress. It is too short on me to be decent with rights only, and I think I'm about a foot shorter than you foxy!

LinusDKD · 11/10/2013 20:41

I have almost decided to not buy the Moncler down coat for the time being so now I am trawling through my extensive A/W wishlist for something to buy.

Poll time: what do you think I should buy?

Drywhiteplease · 11/10/2013 20:45

QueenC thanks for reminding me! have just sprayed suede boots again
Shop that's so sweet.

Hmm.....biker.bag,statement necklace,

foxysocks · 11/10/2013 20:47

aha thanks amber! what's the quality like? does it wash well? do you wear yours over skinnies if opaques are a no?

OneLittleLady · 11/10/2013 20:49

oh! Accessories! I forgot those! now torn between my VW earrings or my VW necklace. They are the same design but in different colourways so it'd look a bit daft to wear them both. Will have to puzzle it out in the morning

libertychick · 11/10/2013 20:53

Foxy the breton is true to size IMO - I have it in a 12 and it's fits on me very much like the fit on Amber in her blog - scroll down to August 13th to see her in it. I think Amber is an 8. The 14 would be very big on you I think and the cotton is soft but not 'marl' or 'slubby' so I'm not sure that a bigger size would hang very well.

shopafrolic · 11/10/2013 20:55

Whack it all on Dry and then overload the make up, layer up the scent - shower gel, moisturiser, perfume - more is more! Grin

libertychick · 11/10/2013 21:03

Linus I have just had a look at your AW wishlist on pin and if I had the choice of one item from it I would probably get Splendid sweater.

You have so many lovely things pinned!!! I also like gorgeous J-Crew top and the navy leather skirt.
