Hugs Linus, so sorry you had to go through something so awful. X

I am so careful not to mention pgs/babies unless I know the other person well. It's just So fraught with emotion for many.

Boden dress is itchy and massive considering its for a 16 yr old. Back it goes...

MarshaBrady · 09/10/2013 15:12

Foxy can recommend superman! Ds2 is still loves to roam the parks of London in his costume. It's a great way to get noticed. Everyone says hey superman Grin

Ok I said I wouldn't say this. But I'm going to. I have no idea what to wear on Saturday.

How dressy is it? Is skinnies ok? Or should I branch out...

What are you all doing?

Annianni · 09/10/2013 15:16

Marsha you need to wear the Boots
Start there and work upwards :o

For Linus Flowers

MarshaBrady · 09/10/2013 15:17

Haha Anni good point, I have them on today.

libertychick · 09/10/2013 15:51

I get the 'when is number 2 coming' questions too. DD is IVF baby and I have had failed treatment since then. We have decided not to do anymore treatment but I live in hope it might happen naturally as I'd love another baby. TBH when people ask I am just upfront and say I'd love another child but it's unlikely to happen - they generally don't ask again Grin. I have to say that I ask other people too - it's genuine curiosity as I just adore babies/children and love talking about them so I ask practically everyone I meet, male or female, if they have kids!

Marsha please wear the boots! I am wearing either black or blue skinnies (depends what's clean!!!) with blue heart print Agnes B shirt and either black blazer or CdC coat depending on the weather - actually I'll probably wear the coat and just be hot!!! Probably the lovely boots Anni found on Asos (or maybe suede wedge courts if I decide on the day I want to look taller) - this outfit counts as reasonably smart for me!

Total style fail today!! I had a yoga class at lunchtime and had to run straight from the class to 3 back to back meetings with no time to change Grin so have just had to apologise 3 times for being dressed in faded, ancient Next trackpants and a long sleeve grey marl Gap , bobbly grey cashmere socks and black ballet flats. Ah well - I was v chilled at the meetings!

QueenCadbury · 09/10/2013 16:26

Grin at thought of liberty in track pants at meetings.

On Saturday I'm wearing indigo jeans, navy blouse, navy blazer and mole boots.

OneLittleLady · 09/10/2013 16:35

Thanks for linus

LinusDKD · 09/10/2013 16:45

Thanks guys! Flowers I realise I am very fortunate to have two healthy children after a having difficulties getting and staying pregnant.

liberty Flowers

Forgot to say that today I am wearing Paige skinnies, my cobalt Esprit sweater (not as cobalt anymore compared to the cardigan I bought today) and my MBMJ polka dot scarf. I was wearing Tod's ballerinas earlier but will wear my Choo Youths now.

marsha we nearly bought a Spiderman costume for DS in Rome but the Disney shop was so crowded we got a bit claustrophobic and left.

Annianni · 09/10/2013 16:49

On Saturday I'll probably be wearing Goldsign jeans rolled up, my grey cashmere J Crew sweater and my Sam E trainers.

no, I'm not coming but I thought I'd join in

OneLittleLady · 09/10/2013 16:59

I have no idea what I'm wearing on Saturday apart from my red faux suede boots. Well, I think I'm wearing them anyway

santamarianovella · 09/10/2013 17:15

hugs to linus and liberty xx, im very careful with babies and pregnancies questions as its a very private and sensitive issue, a dear friend is struggling with conceiving, and whenever i see her ,i try to avoid any talk of babies,as i know how the talk effects her.

marsha yy ,wear the boots,

novice reading your work schedule is like reading dh's,minus the theater bit, he would die of boredom Grin, good news about the offers.

one glad you will make it to the mu,you need the distraction.

ani love your saturday non MU outfit!

foxy good news about your kitchen,

dry im sure you will look amazing on saturday, and remember to bring on of those foldable stools for nancy Grin

mignonette · 09/10/2013 17:22

Liberty I haven't knowingly met anybody who has been through IVF and am very glad it worked out well for you both Flowers.

I 'acquired' my pregnancies very easily but delivering was another matter and all three of us are only here because of my OB's.

What a miserable day. T'Internet was down for several hours whilst a collapsing pole was repaired by OpenReach so not much work (Professional development day today) for me but I have read a few magazines journals.

Linus My 19 year old still wears a Batman costume. They do NOT grow up very far in that respect!

OneLittleLady · 09/10/2013 17:59

Looks like I will be the only one in a dress on Saturday. I look far slimmer in a dress than I do in jeans Blush

shopafrolic · 09/10/2013 18:30

Evening all. I am on the wine already. Second playdate this afternoon, house looks like a bombsite.
Meant to say that AR despatched my order yesterday (or have I said that already?). V impressive......
I may wear my necklace that I got months back on Sat. I never have the excuse to bling it up usually! Ponders if it will go with the Dagmar.....

OneLittleLady · 09/10/2013 18:43

I don't have wine but DP is making me apple and blackberry pie and custard Grin I am a menace in the kitchen so kitchen duties are left to him. I just load/unload the dishwasher as and when required Blush

LinusDKD · 09/10/2013 19:02

I'm joining you shop Wine

Mmmm apple and blackberry pie with custard! Would I be unreasonable to ask DH to make me some? He's only just come off a plane? Wink

MarshaBrady · 09/10/2013 19:18

Lol Linus yes go for it.

libertychick · 09/10/2013 20:11

Oh yum one that sounds delicious. On the wine here too and sharing a bar of fruit and nut with DH.

mignonette · 09/10/2013 21:37

We have made blackberry, raspberry and apple crumble-all off the allotment. Great minds think alike One.

Drywhiteplease · 09/10/2013 22:51

Internet down . On phone . Wrote long post. Lost. Gah!
shop people can be insensitive sometimes. I wish I had been brave enough to reply rudely when asked why I did not bf.
Good news about your neighbours work....
Marsha was thinking stone biker( love it so much) stone suede heeled boots , BFF jeans, bling, scarf, blue bag..... In fact perhaps outfit I pinned a while back.
foxy work coming along v well. However, our house was originally v badly built and altered. Whenever we do work we uncover horrors. Today electric wires joined and covered with Sellotape !!!! Also when builder hung oak fire door the crap architrave couldn't take weight and came off taking a lot of lining paper and great chunks of plaster too. Have to add redecorating hall to list ! Looking axing though. V pleases

BrandyAlexander · 09/10/2013 22:56

Hello all!

I can't do fashion today as I am consumed by property. We did sealed bids today, we now have a "winner" for current house that's significantly over asking price. However....We were hoping to exchange Friday for new house. Huge spanner in works has just emerged in that we couldn't get insurance sorted today (it's been refused) because of a claim the vendors made a few years ago. Stress!!!!

libertychick · 09/10/2013 23:59

Hope you get it sorted tomorrow novice. Well done on getting a good price for your house - fingers crossed you can exchange as planned.

Annianni · 10/10/2013 07:08

Fingers crossed for you Novice.
Fab news on the sealed bids too.

MarshaBrady · 10/10/2013 09:03

Morning voguettes.

I am cold and have left my acne scarf at home, dammit.

Going in to work today. Project should be over by next week. Mixed emotions. On one hand it's quite enjoyable on the other it does seem to occupy my mind even when I'm not working. Hopefully I'll have enough ££ to have bought some months free time. Remind me not to blow too much of it on clothes!

Novice great news, but hope it goes through ok.
