i hate them.

They look like a prosthesis of a foot, that nasty nasty american tan colour, that even the most $$ leather looks plastic.

The daily mail of them ( where no woman can ever be made over without a pair of them and the obligatory wrap dress).

And lastly the utterly wannabe " exectutive" apprentice s thing

Hate them. Hate hate hate hate them.

They're unbelievably dull and boring and improve no outfit.

they are Shoes for The Unimaginative.

Should elongate legs (therefore making you look taller), colour will go with most outfits.
Little bit overused by certain celebs/royals!

Well i suppose if you are short-ish with chunky calves/legs looking slimmer and taller is probably preferable to looking unimaginative.

I kind of know what you mean, but mine are easily the comfiest pair of heels I own so I'm not giving them up!

Saw some women wearing nude rockstuds in grazia and they looked amazing.

I have some mango sandals in nude colour and wore them loads - coz they go with everything.

Not so keen on the lkb sledges though a la katemiddy

I think a pair of fit well and are comfy nude shoes are many women's way of avoiding black shoes in summer, just as my holy grail is the perfect pair of sandals.

(I can't wear court shoes, they hurt, regardless of hight.)

Most of us have neither the time nor the money nor the storage space to buy a pair of shoes for each outfit.

But Betsy you don't, you just look like you are wearing nude shoes and your legs seem a bit longer.

It can be a bit uniform and Kate Middleton, but some people prefer to look attractive and nicely turned out than edgy. I love colour myself but then again i'm 5ft 10 with very long legs.

LOL I thought I was the only person who thought they look like a prosthetic foot!! Especially those platform ones with the platform on the inside then smoothed over (if u get what I mean!) YUCK!!! Looks like an old fashioned NHS style kinda thing!!

I also dislike "nude" shoes - I don't like the look of them and they've become a huge cliché.

I hate them too, they are just so dull.-

And they all look cheap and WAGish at the same time. Yuck.
