ooh there are some gorgeous t shirts for dd.
I must not look for myself as none of it will fit but I may have to glance at the boots.
God, I love Autumn clothes.

Some nice bits, but I did notice quite a few skulls on the boys' stuff, which I know from recent threads won't go down well here. Some lovely stuff, but the prices haven't got any better, sadly. Roll on the sale.

cupcakes · 23/06/2006 11:28

I'm not buying ds anything this year as I stocked up last Jan and he hasn't grown enough to go up to th 7-8 size.
But dd really needs stuff.

Nice when they need things - then you can feel justified in buying them. There's a lovely pink t shirt with a heart on that I know DD will love. And one with a racing car for DS. And maybe some stuff for me (although I may hold off on that). Thanks for the link, cupcakes

Am quite liking the little peacoat.

cupcakes · 23/06/2006 11:35

for dd I like
pegasus t-shirt
camper van t-shirt
owl t-shirt
green cardigan
lined techno trousers
lined cords

I could go on.

do they not do adults nightwear any more? hasn't been any in the womens section for a while now. their mens pj bottoms are really good and the only ones dh has that have lasted

MrsBadger · 23/06/2006 12:32

oh, I want that trench in red
have been looking for a coat with a button-out lining like that for ages
if only it was properly waterproof I'd be there like a shot, but to spend £60 and still have to carry an umbrella...

cupcakes · 23/06/2006 12:39

sometimes the nightwear hasn't appeared till the Winter catalogue.
I am a bit disappointed that there isn't any knitwear for boys.
And I miss their children's bedlinen.

Ooh, have you seen the washed velvet coat in Dusky Blue? I always buy coats in such boooooring colours - maybe this year.....?!

SoMuchToBits · 23/06/2006 12:41

Some of the boys' stuff is nice, although quite a bit is too "teenage" for my 5yo, and I am really disappointed they have no lamby fleece tops for the boys this season! I like some of the womens clothes, but wish they wouldn't do so many trouser styles with such a low waist. For people like myself who are longer in the body, this results in an unsightly gap between the hem of the top and the top of the trousers. Fine if you are aged 18, skinny and toned...but I am most definitely not!

cupcakes · 23/06/2006 12:45

oh yes, no traditional lamby fleeces.
Think this and this are nice.

OP posts:
SoMuchToBits · 23/06/2006 12:49

They are both nice colours and styles cupcakes, but the old lamby fleeces had some cotton in them, and not just synthetic fibres, which make ds a bit "sweatybetty" as he calls it.

cupcakes · 23/06/2006 13:05

I've been nuying those other ones for years and I hadn't realised about the cotton content.
That's a shame.
write and complain!
