I do like the plain girls cardigans and I loved the croppec cord velvet trim baggies as dd is a true shortarse and they fit perfectly!

Piffle · 24/06/2006 10:33

and always wait for the £10 off £30 they send you out if you do not pre order, you can use offer multiple times plus free P+P, it works out way cheaper than 20% off if you calculate your order properly

cupcakes · 24/06/2006 10:37

unless you're buying something over £50...

I stand like that when I'm waiting for the children to come out of school. Simple but effective.

never realised what a romping time the Boden models have before

Just went a bit mad and ordered 2 dresses and some tops for dd

SoMuchToBits · 24/06/2006 19:46

Right. I have already e-mailed Mr. Boden to complain about lack of lamby fleeces for boys. Hope everyone else will do the same. Then he might get the message. By the way Enid, I also like the crepe soled boots in mink too, but don't think I can afford two pairs (perhaps dh would like to buy me some for my birthday???)

SoMuchToBits · 26/06/2006 12:50

I have had a reply from one of Mr. Boden's employees regarding my message about lamby fleeces. She says that the shaggy fleeces are fundamentlly the same - but they are not. They contain no cotton, and they are, well....shaggy!

cupcakes · 26/06/2006 13:51

hmph. You'd think they would have appreciated constructive criticism rather than trying to get a sale out of it.

What with the fabric content of that and those polyester nighties I am quite .

SoMuchToBits · 26/06/2006 21:57

I replied to the Boden establishment emphasising the difference between a garment containing cotton, and one consisting entirely of synthetic fibres. Have since received another reply saying they have passed my comments on to the MiniBoden designers, and if there is enough demand there is a chance they will be able to look into this in the future. So please all e-mail/write to/phone Mr Boden and tell him we would like our lamby fleeces back!

cupcakes · 27/06/2006 07:47

well done - I shall e-mail too!

OP posts:
cupcakes · 27/06/2006 13:16

I have also complaind about the lamby fleeces and polyester nighties.

OP posts:
SoMuchToBits · 27/06/2006 14:07

Well done cupcakes, we don't want Boden standards slipping! Have to admit I bought a lamby fleece for ds on e-bay last night (hurried panic-buying in case we never see them in the Boden catalogue again).

cupcakes · 27/06/2006 14:24

lol

they still do them in girlswear but they have hoods and are not as nice.

OP posts:
SoMuchToBits · 27/06/2006 14:33

Have seen the girls' ones, they are OK, but sadly not for my boy who won't even wear Boden things for boys if they have Hawaiian prints on (too GIRLY Mummy).

mousiemousie · 27/06/2006 20:23

Polyester nighties BLURGH

controlfreaky · 29/06/2006 15:47
