I REALLY, REALLY want a Balenciaga bag, for some reason... I still don't know why! It looks simple, but that's just what I like. It would always have been either that or the Birkin for me.

reggiebean The differences between the Balenciaga bags are so minute (often to do with the hardware than anything else), so they all look alike. But yes, the one I like does have straps dangling from it.

Hermes Birkin, no question. The one I have my eye on is about £26k though, so no chance for a few years yet.

There are plenty of others that I love - quite a fan of some of the Alexander McQueen ones. But Chanel and Hermes will never date.

Hermes Kelly or Birkin (can't decide which) in green crocodile. Daphne Guinness has one (in the Birkin) and it always looks too fantastic.

I saw a woman carrying a chanel 2.55 today - she looked really good and I coveted her bag.

she was in boyfriend jeans, ballet flats, long white tshirt, grey jumper, scarf and black jacket with her 2.55 across her body. I just thought it was a eurotrash kind of bag before and hadn't thought it would look good casually. I may save up for one.

Otherwise I quite like the anya hindmarch gracie.

I just have to say, Birkin's always make me . I have such a hard time believing that they're real most of the time. For example, my upstairs neighbour just knocked on our door. She's in her early 20's, renting a flat in SW London (not in a bad area by any means, but it's no Kensington) and she had a "Birkin" on her arm just now... I just can't believe that she actually has a real one!

Talking about which... have they really removed the waiting lists for Birkins? (i.e. if you want one you can get one now - as long as you have the cash)
