Definitely the 2nd one, for me

snowlie · 21/08/2013 07:41

2nd one for me, first one is a bit too horsey....sliding into Tory wife territory, for my taste.

buttercrumble · 21/08/2013 07:43

2nd one

MairzyDoats · 21/08/2013 07:44

2nd one. I'd be worried that that diamond quilted style is about to look dated. The second one is classic.

MrsCampbellBlack · 21/08/2013 07:45

The second one. The first one is worn by lots of women round these parts but they tend to be quite mature ladies.

2nd one

dyslexicdespot · 21/08/2013 08:00

The second one. The first one might work in the country, but is not to my taste.

Downfall · 21/08/2013 08:10

Love the colour. 2nd one.

NewAtThisMalarky · 21/08/2013 08:18

The second one, definitely. I don't 'do' quilted coats. Both are lively colour/shapes though

echt · 21/08/2013 08:29

The second.

FunInTheSunD · 21/08/2013 08:37

I take it all back... I can only think I was delirious when I looked at them both in the early hours of this morning.

I've looked again, I didn't realise the first one was quilted. .. so I now like the second one... but not --much if I'm honest--

missbopeep · 21/08/2013 08:39

Neither. sorry.
The first is a bit of a cliche- the padded diamond shaped quilting, borrowed from the horsey set ( becoming a cliche like Barbours for the High St)- and the 2nd has too many patch pockets which would make anyone except the tall and willowy look dumpy.

RosieLig · 21/08/2013 08:39

Second one, I don't like the quilted look.

LynetteScavo · 21/08/2013 08:40

The first.

The second is a bit dull.

VerySmallSqueak · 21/08/2013 08:42

Neither for me,but 2nd if I had to.

SundaySimmons · 21/08/2013 08:56

The quilted one is a nice shape but the quilting makes it look like a supermarket bought coat. Not that there is anything wrong with supermarket coats, I'm just saying it..... Oh you know what I mean!

The second one is not as nice a shape and whilst ok it isn't anything special.

MTBMummy · 21/08/2013 08:59

2nd for me, but I just have a thing against the "padded" look

missbopeep · 21/08/2013 09:11

That's So bloody typical of M&S- as soon as they get anything half decent all the small sizes are out of stock in days.

Their stock controller/buyer needs shooting.

it's the same for everything- bras, nice nighties, cashmere....all gone in days in sizes 8-10.

ARE YOU LISTENING M&S?

LadyMilfordHaven · 21/08/2013 09:16

the first one would be worn by Camilla

NO NO NO

MarshaBrady · 21/08/2013 09:17

No to the first one.

Second definitely.
