It has come to my attention that about 98% of us are wearing:

Chanel Vitalumiere Foundation
Stone Edge nail varnish
PPH's shoes
city shorts

What top are we wearing? Do we have an MN perfume?

at the moment i am wearing a beautiful ensamble, the shorts i bought rom somewhere so forgetable i forget - 5 years ago - coupled with an england top which belongs to my dh. i got this at a much reduced price when i did the wages for UMBRO many years ago.

i have some rip off birkenstocky flip floppy thins on my feet

i have hairy legs

and hairyer toes - yes toes.

i have one nail on my left hand and have never been for a manicure in my life- would be wasted on a no nail person.

i can't be trusted with falsies - i tend to set them on fire when putting out a ciggie.

never worn foundation. which i am quite proud about.

I dont wear make-up (am young enough to get away with it )

My toe nails are red

I am wearing red strappy sandels (or would be if I actually bother to get dressed)

Would not be seen dead in city shorts They are minging (IMO )

Will be wearing short denim skirt instead.

And red vest top and belt to go with the shoes.

I am in the 2%

I'm in the 2% too (linen trous, slightly surfy tan shirt, suedey wedges), but I imagine the 98% to be wearing 3/4 sleeved v-necked tops with their city shorts.

I'm sorry .. but that 4th picture along in your link .... WTF? .. that's a model .. those legs look like shapeless pins .. people are just too skinny nowadays

Oh dear. I bought a pair, from Next too. I just see them as a longer version of shorts. You can also roll them up a bit to make them shorter. I wear them with vests. They are definitely not office wear and they are nowhere near as desperately fashionable as culottes.

The perfume I'm wearing ATM is Sentiment by Escada.

So, am I terribly conventional and amongst the 98%?

Well at the moment I am wearing purple pyjama bottome and a white vest top with a huge splodge of mashed banana from ds's breakfast down it.

When I get dressed in the nest 20mins I shall be wearing an ankle leangth denim skirt, and a lovely crinkle shirt with a pair of closed toe kitten heels (its raining here and I have to go to town).

and,

I HATE BLOODY CITY SHORTS, if we are honest they are just black bermuda shorts.

What are city shorts anyway? I know it has probably siad a dozen times before but.... Are we just talking smart shorts, perhaps with a front crease?

I agree about the bermuda shorts. If city shorts have a crease then I definitely haven't got a pair. Phew! relieved to have escaped the style police this time :)

no finger nails - clean too much!
city shorts ...schmitty shorts!
four year old sparkly flip flops and proud of it!
no perfume for me!
