It has come to my attention that about 98% of us are wearing:

Chanel Vitalumiere Foundation
Stone Edge nail varnish
PPH's shoes
city shorts

What top are we wearing? Do we have an MN perfume?

I'm in 2% too, wearing cropped jeans and white t-shirt, but do have red sparkly toe nails (and will all summer as I just top it up when I get a chip )

And dark red leather flip flops. Wearing Eau de readybrek perfume, no foundation (but do have ulays summer sun moisterizer on)

Bare face
Bare nails
olive green t-shirt
cream cords
Brown Havianas - so not totally typical

However yesterday
Chanel Vitaluminere foundation
long black t-shirt
Grey city shorts
Sparkly silver peep-toed flat shoes

So I suppose I was generally wearing the uniform

However I do wear Eau de Givenchy which is a deliciously summery perfume and I have only ever met one other person who wore it. So at least I smell individual.

I've got the foundation, but am not wearing it currently due to my gorgeous fake tan

City shorts are this years gipsy skirt no one will be wearing them in 6 months although they look good in high end mag fashion shoots they are as twiglett says naff otherwise

I only own one thing from F&Z's list (the foundation) but I'm not wearing it today. Today I am mostly wearing

Green striped polo shirt
Miss Selfridge jeans
Pink socks
Specs
Wedding/engagement rings
Squirt of Eternity Summer
(no nail varnish, but clean, tidy, bare nails on hands and feet)

dont forget the BIRKIES as footwear of choice for many mners (see threads extolling their joy).

No birkies here either, today I'll be donning my pink and brown retro Pumas. Too cold for flip flop type shoes.

Gap jeans (bootleg because of large arse, none of this wannabe skinny nonsense), stripy blue t shirt, linen jacket/shirt thing from zara in aquamarine, flatties from clarks (ie comfy). no perfume or make up. eating bacon sarnie (stressful week )

No make up, because I hate it.
I don't paint my toenails because a) I can't be bothered and b) they're a funny shape.
Plainish T-shirt - normally vest top in summer but it was chilly this morning.
Jeans, because it really was chilly this morning!(2nd hand m&s, because they're the only ones who reliably cater for short people)
Perfume - rare - karma from Lush, or vague wafts of lavender or olbas oil (purely therapeutic, you understand, although there is something rather bracing about it on a chill winter's morning).
Bare feet.
What about MN hair? Or was this done to death on the rather insulting long hair thread?

maybe people with proper suit-wearing uncomfy-shod jobs are too busy to MN during the day?

trinityrhino. I am remarkably snot- and food-free, considering all children have eaten today, and ds2 and I made biscuits with choccie icing.... however, I'm sure I can rely on dd2 to lovingly massage her lunch into my trousers shortly

No MrsBadger Im off today but usually am in work whilst mumsnetting, in a busy office with a dress code
