H&M online are a bit pants, aren't they??

I mean, just how long do they take to ship your items???

I know, I only shop there for things I'm not in a hurry for and that are on sale otherwise I'd be waiting forever.

Not as bad as Vertbaudet though, they once took 5 weeks to ship an item.

They take flippin forever.... I also only order if it is not something that I am prepared to wait for AND if I think it is highly unlikely I will need to return. So it is mostly things for the kids and the house. They do brilliant pillow covers and I got a set of linen sheets/duvet cover for near nothing.

That should read if it IS something I don't mind waiting for...

They are slow but I like their stuff and it's cheap by comparison. If only primark ships!

Be warned that returning things is a total palaver too - if you return to a store you have to get a credit note, and the staff seem to have no idea how to do it..

You can only pay by going into their bank as well I think, or have I got that wrong?

Yes it's ridiculous. I'm waiting for an order I placed over a month ago, that supposedly shipped a week ago. l won't be ordering from them again.

I like theit stuff, but only get it from the shops now. Had a v long argument about a coat which they said I hadn' t returned when I had.

2 weeks today since I placed my order. How bloody useless. At this rate my DC's feet will have gone up a size and the sneakers I ordered won't fit them!!

Agree useless had my order put back delivery was then going to be when on holiday asked to change delivery address but this was not possible in the end cancelled whole order, they didn't care

Oh blimey, they take forever! The shortest wait I have ever had is 7 days but generally it's between 10 to 14 days. I have to say, though, in their defence, if you have a problem their customer service team is very helpful and very easy to get through to by phone. Unlike Asos!

They are crap! I won't be ordering from them again after my last experience. They took bout 5 or 6 weeks to write me a letter (what happened to email???) asking me to contact them about my order

Argh, I ordered on 2 weeks. Apparently H&M only started processing the order on Friday. It says dispatched but no tracking info available. In the meantime I've been told I will get my order in 2 lots, I will only get 1 lot and then I'm actually getting the full order. If it wasn't so frigging cheap I would have tried cancelling a while ago and bought something elsewhere.

I ordered about 20 bargains in the sale - they are all just horrible! Poor quality and fit. They are all going back. Some things in the shop are lovely but there's so much that's nasty. I don't expect amazing tailoring etc for the low price, but the fabrics are all sheer, shiny or scratchy and the seams are often really crooked. So disappointed.

I've been ordering a fair bit from them online, but only because it's worked out absurdly cheap with multiple codes. I bought a top a few weeks ago, it didn't fit (despite other items in that size being a perfect fit/too big - that's another bugbear!). Went into a store and found the same top in a larger size and wanted to do a straight swap, but because the online price was cheaper they actually wanted me to pay more for the bigger size! I just kept the small one (as it only cost a few pounds after the discounts) and wear it as an inner layer.

Also I chose to pay on receipt one time but lost my delivery note and there were no instructions in my online account on how to make the payment! Finally found the delivery note with the reference numbers, but it seems like I wouldn't have been able to make the payment otherwise, they don't even put the bank details on the website anywhere, even when you log in online.

And if you want to update your address details you can't do it online, they ask you to send a snail mail to an address in Edinburgh . They don't allow you to send orders to an alternative/work address like most other retailers.

I've got an order that was dispatched on 27th (sure it said originally 25th ) , any idea how long in transit ? Tracker isn't updated.

LIZS I had the same thing with dispatch dates changing. Once the tracking showed info it arrived next day.

LIZS Same with my order. If you nick the order number from the track URL and search it says the number doesn't exist (well in my case at least). Normally with Hermes it will say order generated. I'm not holding out any hope.

I try not to order from them online at all anymore, they are just so crap. Annoyingly I have a credit voucher to spend but every time I think I could use it I realise that I just can't afford to wait 8-9 weeks for items to arrive. That is how long I waited for my last order from them.

I like their velvet cushion covers.The 2 discount codes that are usually floating about make them an excellent price so the wait more bearable.

Nothing here so far :(

Me either though my dispatched date has changed from Friday to yesterday and now Hermes have an order generated status, so that's something positive!
