So I know that people in London wear normal clothes but I fancy talking about it anyway. Indulge me please.

I know that I can wear what on earth I want, and I know that nobody cares, but we're having a few days in London next week and the weather looks very changeable. I don't really want to buy new clothes and I will obviously bring a brolly but should I buy a pack-a-parka thing too? Warm and wet is so hard to get right imho.

I have got:
obligatory brolly
jeans
cigarette trousers
tube skirts - long, short, midi
jersey dresses
sandals
Converse
ballet shoes
various tops etc
cotton biker
leather biker (doubt I'll want that)
denim jacket

Anybody fancy styling me? Want tp pack as light as possible too. :)

My conclusion after about 30 minutes in tourist/corporate London is that anything goes (you knew that already!).

But please, please, please pack loads of deodorant!!!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 24/07/2013 19:07

Oh hang on - you meant the Whsitles one, Amber. Nope - it's this one

I would take a jumper or jacket. It was overcast on Saturday when I was at an outdoor party in a t-shirt and I was so cold I had to nip home and get a sweater! Love the sound of the skirt!!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 24/07/2013 19:11

:) It is one of my very, very favourite things.

Okay - have shoved a jumper in. Ta.

Oh, I've got that skirt, and your gap stripy maxi - we are clearly stripy skirt lovers!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 24/07/2013 19:16

:) The Gap maxi is so comfortable, but I feel scruffy and fat in it - otherwise I'd wear it to travel in.

Whatever you pack, leave room for those essential buys.

Yayay to striped maxis.

Corygal · 24/07/2013 20:14

Stuff a scarf in to stop getting chest burn if you are out all day. Better, buy one in Spitalfields.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 24/07/2013 20:22

Scarf is now stuffed. :)

I work in Islington...and it's soooo humid and sweaty atm. I suggest face wipes/ sprays to freshen up. Sleeveless tops and cropped capris are my staples.

Do you like Dim Sum? Are you teens quite trendy? Drunken Monkey on Commercial Rd in Shoreditch is fab

Leadenhall market is nice for a mooch. It's Diagonally if your teens are younger/potter fans.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 24/07/2013 20:36

I'll buy a face spray there.

I'm veggie, so dim sum isn't great for me.

Huge Potter fans - we're going to the Studio Tour too.

I see that Leadenhall Market is by the Monument, which might also be fun.
