Lady vintage london-sale!!

They have a big sale on right now. I am a bit miffed because a dress I got only last week for £40 is now down to £20!!Angry Get in quick if you like their stuff-am very tempted to get a couple more dresses!!

Honestly if I could remember the poster on here who first recommended them I would kill them as cost me a bomb!

How tall are you bigtilly?-did you order a swing dress as I don find them to be on the shorter side. The Hepburn may be better for you as is quite a bit longer.

I am 5'8", but with long legs and crepey old footballers knees, so I need the dress to be on/slightly over the knee.

I will have another look at the Hepburn, thanks!

I am 5'6 and the swing dresses sit just above my knee-I would prefer them an inch longer but as I would never wear them without tights/leggings its not a big problem!

The hepburns sit mid calf on me so should sit just on the knee for you-the new prints are lovely too!

Right, I am going to give the red poppy on black Hepburn a whirl. It's 4" longer, so fingers crossed it's OK!

I did actually question the length of the swing dresses as I'm 5ft 6ins and it was a good inch above my knees. When I measured the dress, it was several cms shorter than stated. But they told me that they are making them longer soon, if that helps.

The length of the swing dresses are hit and miss moon-I have 5 of themBlush 2 of them are a good 2 inches shorter than the others which means I will have to wear them with leggings.

Collectif also do lovely vintage style dresses and they are a lot longer-all sit either below the knee or mid calf on me.

If you have a look on the blog Fullerfigurefullerbust tilly-I am sure she has the poppy Hepburn and I believe she is 5'8 so you could see the length on her to give you an idea. Sorry I can't do links.

Lady vintage have just announced 5 new swing dresses on facebook and they ARE longer!-42 to 45 inches in length depending on what size you are! Maybe they were spying on this threadGrin

I really like the blue and grey floral print but cannot justify any more of their dressesSad
