Got a couple of nice skirts in sale last summer.
Just bought a cropped cardigan the other day - 3/4 sleeves and just one diamante button at the top. Got it in bright green and it's lovely.

The one we saw Jools and you persuaded me to leave it cos I'd bought 2 pairs of shoes - told you I'd go back for it Grin

Oooh Monsoon stuff is soo gorge. I am an authority on the subject because I spend a lot of time studying their merchandise from my vantage point at the window of their shops... I am not even worthy of going in! Grin

SoupDragon · 24/05/2006 21:09

I love going in and trying on posh evening dresses...

bubble99 · 24/05/2006 21:11

Was it a nice cardi, cod?

mrsbang · 24/05/2006 21:11

I don't like clothes shopping but I need an outfit for a wedding and a couple of people have suggested Monsoon.

SleepyJess · 24/05/2006 21:12

LOL I need an outfit for an August wedding.. a couple of people have mentioned New Look to me.. Grin

SoupDragon · 24/05/2006 21:14

SleepyJess, have you thought of looking in Monsoon for your wedding outfit?

(just to make you feel better :o)

bubble99 · 24/05/2006 21:14

SleepyJess, you must be slim then. I can't get most New Look stuff over my thighs/arms.

mrsbang · 24/05/2006 21:15

lol...New Look is more my budget generally (only ever bought one skirt from there too)

I hate clothes shopping lol.

hulababy · 24/05/2006 21:16

I love their little girl's clothes but can't justify paying that amount for every day wear. DD has the odd outfit from their for special occasions like a wedding or big family thing, and that's it - unless I can get something in their sales.

I did my some jeans for myself. They do a petite range :) and their jeans were £45 which I actually thought was pretty good.

MrsDoolittle · 24/05/2006 21:19

I love Monsoon. It's one of those shops that if I can't find anything nice to wear I know I will find it in Monsoon.
I'm a B'n'A kinda gal. I guess that's why it fits so well. Beautiful, beautiful clothes, so comfortable.

But then I can never wear jigsaw - I'm too curvy.

Horses for courses

bubble99 · 24/05/2006 21:20

hulababy. I'm Envy that you can even think of buying from their 'petite' range.

Whizzz · 24/05/2006 21:20

\link{http://store.monsoon.co.uk/catalog/Welcome\i love these shoes} Grin

SoupDragon · 24/05/2006 21:21

"petite" is another word for short :o

hulababy · 24/05/2006 21:21

Only buy from their petite range cos I am short - not thin!

bubble99 · 24/05/2006 21:22

I quite like the tree. Can't see the shoes. What are they like?

bubble99 · 24/05/2006 21:24

No. It's no good, hula. I don't believe you. Still Envy.

hulababy · 24/05/2006 21:28

Whizzz · 24/05/2006 21:29
