By jersey do you mean knitted sort of thing. Gap do some that are heavy t-shirt material.

Matalan, they have grey, black and navy and white striped. Full length and pretty full, not straight, with fold over waistband too, £14.

I got a good one in Gap last summer. Topshop column ones (double layer) are ace but they don't have the fold over waist.

I have this one in three colours and love it. I'm not sure if the waistband is what you are after but had to show it as I love it so much.

Jersey means t-shirt fabric doesn't it..not like a sweater / jumper

They're not my style (though I like the company generally) but Kettlewell's skirts are like that.

If you are tall, Select have them. They stay nice and long after washing and tumble drying too, unlike other brands that end up as ankle-swingers!

I have in the oxblood purple colour, navy and black, and another three people at work have bought the black. It's a lovely skirt and so flattering.

TU had some nice ones in navy blue when I went in today - there's a 25% sale til Monday.

Gap have just brought in some foldover ones, for 25 or 30 quid. Thick stripes in black and white (the nicest), thin sailor stripes, plain black (no), grey, navy. Nice jersey cotton.

I've got the Matalan ones, stripey and grey. They are really, really nice, hang well, wash well and don't need ironing. I practically live in mine.

What footwear are you all wearing with maxi skirts? It's too cold for flip flops / sandals which would be my default with anything maxi

Alwaysleeping - I've been lurking with interest. The topshop ones look great but reviews suggest not that long. I'm 5'9. How do you find them pls ?
