So, I have got cheap wellies and they a very uncomfy so I am now moving to the wilds and need some wellies or country boots I can spend a lot of time in without the ouch and the cold and without looking completely awful! Not Hunters obviously because moving to the country and wearing Hunter wellies would be even too much of a cliche for me......

I also need a long raincoat, how can anyone get to 43 and not own a proper coat? Hmm

Oh Totally, make him pay my love.... more worrying though if he had preferred you covered in shit? That is really niche....

I am going to buy some jeans later, the metamorphosis begins........ I shall rise from the ashes of my former glamorous self as a practical yet understated country hottie with Le Chameaus, Skinny jeans (high waisted), tailored shirt and nice cashmere pullover/cardigan accompanied by a neckerchief........ All I need now is a Cath Kidson handbag and some fucking bunting in my country kitchen and I will be a completely countryfied towny tool! What a wanker! lol

Good luck on the jeans hunt, fluffy.
Totally, I feel your pain. It's hard to look sexy in overalls and steel capped wellies with a woolly hat that came free from the semen rep. But I try. Thank God I have my own job where I can wear heels.

I did 7.5 miles with the dog in my Le Chameaus today.

Obviously, I looked a complete wanker Hmm but, God my feet were comfortable.

Hope the packing is going well Fluffy, I hate moving so you have my sympathies.

I don't know about chooks but if you get some turkeys you can get your own semen hat, wear it in the knowledge it's not you wielding the spaff collection unit. I swear to God one of our bulls has never looked at me the same - never watched my back so hard in my life. Still, sadly he's more romantic than DH!
although, yes, so glad dh is not that odd.
Have you chosen yon boots yet? I'm waiting on some pictures!

I wear the Farmers choice round here. Nora's. I have a matt purple pair. I wear them with skinnies and a purple jacket, with a pink hoodie underneath when cold. And my Labrador has a coordinating pink and purple collar. Grin

They are the comfiest things I have owned ever and look cute with shorts and dresses too.

Loads of colours to choose from

I'm thinking of getting these too

Good choice Honey. Noras are definitely acceptable for country bumpkins and last well too.

In my experience locals round here wear farm shop cheapies. Its the DFL that wear the posh jobs.
I agree Hunters have gone downhill. My Barbour wellies have lasted longer.

Dubarry and a drizabone 3/4 length. V practical and passes for sexy and posh in these rural parts!
