I am nosy and I'd love to know what handbag you are all using right now. Post a pic if you can. I'm after a new one and would like some inspiration!

which I recently purchased and do feel a little bit sick at how much it cost.
Then I have this for day to day use:

and this when I dont need to carry much:
well similar anyway but mine was cheaper
Though I now have fallen in love with the Sak one too but I really really can't afford it and I am no longer in the States.

Remus, it is exactly as i expected on a S&B thread! I have said this before about mulberry bags, they are everywhere and it seems like every other woman on the morning commute has one. For that reason, the bayswater is a good classic but certainly in central London in the morning, its looks like a herd of them going to work

The links are all lovely but the ones to the Chloe Paraty are making me swoon. Beautiful bag. There was a hobo linked earlier, M&S I think, that looks fab.

Mulberry is popular! And why not? So are skinny jeans, converse, boden, m&s undies in general in the UK. I live abroad where you never see mulberry but every other lady carries a Longchamp...and so do I

There are so many bags linked to in this thread I can't pick a favourite. Someone linked to something grey with birds & flowers but link does not work...I'm intrigued though, could you try again?

Osprey Maudie in Orange - has a cross-body strap too. Fabulous lining. Hopeless for anything work-related tho.

Wow - so many people with crazily expensive bags!!! I have a tote from banana republic :) Nice leather. I even bought that with a 30% off voucher! Everyone spends on different things, but I can't imagine spending £800+ on a handbag x

Just switched, for summer, to my Mulberry Alexa in petticoat white, which is a creamy white.

They are selling the Le Pliage messenger bag I desperately want BUT I have no idea if they are genuine. I emailed them and they replied saying they are genuine and they get them straight from the factory...but I am not sure...

Mulberry here as well. Got a lovely bayswater clutch in oak from the outlet store in shepton mallet a couple of weeks ago. Its small and just fits my phone wallet sunglasses. But i love it.

Also have an oversized alexa in chocolate which is my all time favourite.

To be honest I would be wary. Of course the company will say its the genuine article only.

I would be contacting long champ head office. Either ask for a list of confirmed stockist and maybe alert them to the website.

I know most high end brands sell through minimal outlets to keep them 'all exclusive'
