I love handbags (clearly). A handbag always looks the same even if you have a stone to lose and your hair is rubbish. It's like a completely faithful friend saddo

I also love my mulberry and tanner Krolle bags, currently all sat in dust bags and haven't seen the light of day in a while due to mostly carrying around the stork sac which is full of nappies, mini raisins and toy cars

I am currently expecting DC1 and I am determined my lovely bags will not be replaced by a changing bag despite my friends telling me otherwise.

Have stored my winter handbag away - mulberry roxanne in purple. I love this bag.

cavort being the bag junkie that I am, I too was determined not to have a baby bag...

Until a bottle leaked all over the mulberry and a yogurt exploded in the Chloe thankfully they cleaned up ok.

Stork sac was the closest thing to not looking like a baby bag.

I still throw the baby bag under the pram and carry a nice bag .

MN is unreal. Handbag threads are the only ones that make me think MN and reality are completely removed from each other. I don't know a single person irl with a Mulberry handbag but every other person on here seems to have one!

My favourite was from the Hobbs sale and is a tan leather camera bag. It was £60.

remus I don't know anyone apart from myself who owns one either. Everyone thinks I'm crazy. That's why I love MN, I can share bag love without being made to feel I shouldn't spend so much.

A colleague has a lv ( logo one) but my anya is going unnoticed. That's hey I love it - it's understated and not in your face.

I was sitting here cackling at all the people rushing onthread to display their Mulberries & then I realised I was using mine today...

It is a properly vintage one - cross-body, tiny, none of the bells and whistles of the statement bags. I think it's older than me. Indestructible. Hang onto them, is all I can say, they never die.

You know the advert for VW Polos, with the tall woman? She has a slouchy brown bag in one bit which I love, and I want it.
