well I've just done a self tan, so my vitalumiere is too light, so have got out my clarins tinted moisturiser - hurrah!

Also Clarins eyes and cheeks palette - creamy pinks and bronzy colours, plus a nice juicy style lipgloss I got free from Estee Lauder - sort of goldeny pink.

Oh AND I've ordered an airbrush home self tanning system - can't wait to try it - it's this airbrush gun thing and the tan takes 2 mins to apply. Saw someone at the school gates looking fab and asked her what her secret was - this was it. Ordered from some shopping channel called Ideal World (never heard of it before!). Will report back when I get it and use.

Well I'm off out in a bit and I have on Estee double wear make up (not v summery but I need to cover this horrible red patch on my cheek that won't go away), a shimmery light beige eyeshadow, lancome black mascara (really want to try a coloured one, may treat self on Saturday after haircut), little blush, that lipstick that was free with Eve mag - shimmery with just a light tinge of colour.

How does that grab ya?

What's 'in' for summer then?

It has to be brown or black.

I've got the Clarins tinted moisturiser out as well puff, other than that haven't changed anything - it's like November round our way.

Coloured mascara - I have a deep plummy purple from Dior called Ultimeyes - gorgeous, doen't look purple on iyswim, but really makes my green eyes stand out.

I'll let you know if the kit is any good

I do like a purple shade - gives a softer look and a bit more interesting than brown

It's those new watery gel mascaras that you put on over your usual mascara that are all the rage this summer isn't it? I bought one from Bourgois. It was crapo. But I am still not put off Grin I am off hunting for another one soon...

with my coluring I cannot do fake tan to any intersting degreee and i cannot do coloured mascara.

In the summer, when it is sunny and I have my freckles out, I stop wearing foundation and wear a light blush, but usually keep same browns for eyes...

and kiss lip thingy from chanel.

chanel is the way to go when you are over 40 IMO

Puff , a word of warning about airbrush tanning . The fine mist does coat everything in the room. You cant see it until you dust or wipe something but then it smears. My sis is a beauty therapist and thinks its a bit of a pain to use but gives really good results. if you're doing it at home it might be worth standing in the bath or something so at least you can shower the tiles down afterwards.

Can anyone tell me if coral lipcolours are in this summer? I've seen a gorgeous sisley one (its no 67 if anyone knows it). I showed it to my friend when we were shopping but she did pantomime barfing.
