Thanks lorina - I did think standing in the bath would be a good idea Grin

The stuff all arrived today - very exciting.

I've just done my elemis tan, so will leave it a few days before I do this.

Dh has been inspecting the airbrush and says he'll do my back for me - "ooh just like spray painting a car" he said with glee. Lol.

BeetrootOldDeer · 18/05/2006 14:28

bloody weather
this morning it's sunny but they say it will rain later
yesterday evening I drove down the M3 to Basingstoke in what can only be described as a monsoon, and then got royally pissed on when I got out of the car. I have no wish to repeat the experience again tonight, but bet I have to

what makeup do you wear that can cope with rain and then looking reasonable under stage lights in evening gear??eh, eh

it's impossible. rant over!

BeetrootOldDeer · 18/05/2006 16:03

my dh????

TinyGang · 18/05/2006 16:07

I went to buy a tinted moisturiser and looked at Clarins, but it doesn't have an SPF in it. I can't be faffed to put two things on of a morning. Not sure what other tinted moisturisers to try, we don't have much of a selection round our way. I also need to be careful as I have a tendency to oiliness etc, can't buy any old thing i.e. end up spending zillions on posh counter stuff instead of cheaper brands. The Clarins one was nice, I suppose I could do sunblock as well...
Apart from that I am always changing my lipstick every single day and go a bit lighter in Summer, but it just depends on my mood more than anything.
Don't need bronzers Grin

puff · 18/05/2006 19:23

i am sure that is not how you spell it though?

crunchie · 19/05/2006 19:51

Summer make-up hmmm. Well it has to be the Vitalumiere for the 'glow' and I have just bought new rosy pinky blusher from MAC. In winter i use a more beigy pink.

And then I have 2 different looks. One is blue or green eye shadow and sometimes blue mascara to match. With MAC Lust lip glass. This look is fun and fresh but not sophisticated.

The other look is black liquid eyeliner flicked out (actually an eyeliner pen) loads of black mascara. MAC lipglass to finish. This works better when I am wearing my black shirt dress or my Dorothy shoes (red sequins and blue eyeshadow nononono)

Actually this is the same as I do in the winter, just lighter foundation and pinker blusher.

puff · 19/05/2006 20:20

that's bad beety - they ain't cheap after all

expatinscotland · 19/05/2006 20:21
