I'm a bit fed up of sporting the "two black eyes" look, any ideas?!

Have two permanent black circles under my eyes, seriously I look bruised. Apart from drinking lots of water, fresh air, exercise etc, is there anything I can do that will help? Are there any creams or beauty products that I can try, or shall I just go and buy a balaclava now? Tia.

People on her used to race about the gelatine treatment. Never tried it myself but perhaps worth a go.

OP my dark circles used to make me look like I had black eyes. I really did look like I'd been battered. They were like that for years and years since being a child. These days they are not even half as bad as they used to be. I don't really know why, either. I get less sleep now than I used to and I don't eat better or use anything special. I don't even drink more water. The only thing I think it can be is the facial exercises I do (facercise). I did them initially to sort out the puffiness, which they have, but they seem to have lightened the darkness quite considerably too. Might be worth giving it a go? If you can't be bothered doing the whole programme, you could just try the eye exercises for a couple of weeks and see if you like the results.

twofalls - that poor guy on your link who posted the wrong quantities of gelatin! There must have been women all over USA cursing him!

madmomma - that's interesting, thanks. How long does it take you to do your exercises?

This getting old business is bloody time consuming - more time exercising, more time drinking water/eating healthily, more complicated and time consuming beauty routines etc! I don't have time to make myself look beautiful, have to fit in real life somewhere! Beginning to think the best solution may just be to throw away my contacts, and then my god-awful eye sight (which naturally is getting worse cos of my age!) will be a blessing in disguise!

farley I do the whole face routine and it takes me about 10-15 mins. I just do it while I'm watching tv before bed. If you did all the eye exercises it'd still take you less than 5 mins (once you've learned them from the book). I am a total beauty hound and facercise is by far the best beauty secret I have. I will still be doing it in my old age. I love that it's free too!

Preparation H has arrived already Shock. Only ordered it on Saturday evening I think, somebody somewhere is obviously trying to tell me something.

I'm preoccupied today by the mysterious appearance of a bible in my kitchen! If any of you would like to help me solve the mystery, please ead over to my thread in Chat!

Um, now that I actually have the preparation H to hand, what do I actually do with it? Do I put it on in the evening or morning or both? Under or over moisturiser? Use only on some days?

I got a fantastic concealer from QVC for the redness under my eyes. It's made by Mally and has a two part approach of the concealer and then a setting powder. I've tried all concelaers over the years and this is great. also, if you don't get on with it, you just send it back for a refund!
