I haven't seen anyone in them looking good. They look like overgrown school boys shorts. YUK!

yes, and there are rows and rows of them reduced in debenhams, I dont think many people do like them!

Dior · 15/05/2006 14:44

And there was me thinking that you meant weekend city breaks!

NotAnOtter · 15/05/2006 14:44

point some out to me tiny - i think i almost bought them in zara on sat but decided against it..........

PiccadillyCircus · 15/05/2006 14:45

They look really weird, IMO.

nailpolish · 15/05/2006 14:45

i liked them for a while, but thanks god i didnt buy any

was passing the high school gates the other day and every teen schoolgirl was wearing a pair of black (uniform is black and red) city shorts

they were all thin, young and fabulous looking

Dior · 15/05/2006 14:46

I would never know what to put with them. Besides, I would look stumpy in them. Not the best fashion trend IMO.

crunchie · 15/05/2006 14:50

I love these, I wear them with heels and any tops I would normally wear with a skirt. They are comfortable, practical and IMHO look fab on me :)

TinyGang · 15/05/2006 14:52

I have two pairs of city shorts. I like them!

Dior · 15/05/2006 14:54

I would have no reason to wear them anyway, just to do the housework and school run. Hooray! Having said that, the model on the left in TG's link does look totally fab. She's got legs up to her armpits though.

Frenchgirl · 15/05/2006 14:57

only look good on the very thin and fabulous of leg I think
which I am sure all MNers with city shorts are

lucykate · 15/05/2006 14:57

i prefer them to skinny jeans

TinyGang · 15/05/2006 15:00

Oh god, let me not even think about skinny jeans!Grin

i look nice in mine

Dior · 15/05/2006 15:01

They would have to renamed if I wore them!

expatinscotland · 15/05/2006 15:01

I find them vile. I much prefer a skirt.

mosschops30 · 15/05/2006 15:02

i love mine and think i look good in them. Wear them smart or casual which is great with heels or flats

hotmama · 15/05/2006 15:08

Think they are awful.

meowmix · 15/05/2006 15:12

i ... dunno..... think i'd feel a bit fashion victim in them

I think they look good, only if you are very slim and have good legs. I have to say I prefer them to the gypsy skirts of last year though.

lou33 · 15/05/2006 15:32

i hate them
