What on earth can I suggest for dd1 to wear to a September wedding? Near the beach, english country house, her sister is being a bridesmaid, so I need to get her something lovely that will do the whole 'not a child, but not yet a woman' thing safely...
She largely lives in jeans and hoodies, but is a dancer so is used to gussying up for shows etc - she doesn't actually own a single dress or skirt except for stage costumes of full-on blingerama.
In addition to this, we live in the middle of the North American continent, where apparently it is impossible to work out where to shop for teen girls that doesn't involve denim or, currently, neon prom dresses...
