Losing weight yet still buy same size pants, is it just me?

I still buy a size 14 even though am a 12 maybe a 10.

WHY
i did let my hand HOVER over the 12s but the fear of chafing....
People who have lost loads - is this The Final Frontier?

I always buy size 12 knickers and am generally a size 8 in clothes - I don't like knickers to dig in.

But hey mrs skinny size 10!

i find that i like mine loose so buy bigger.

I am a 12-14 but bought some 16's at M&S the other day, had a good look about and they seemed roomy. Nope. grrr

I find most pants come up small. When i was bigger, a 16 i sometimes had to buy size 20. What do people do if they are a size 20, i never see pants go any bigger than that. Ridiculous.

Cotton knickers also seem to shrink but that could just be me.

I'm still wearing my size 22 knickers (Bonmarché's best! lol) even though I'm now a 12/14. When I say 'wearing' I mean it in the loosest possible sense (literally) as they now tend to fall off if unsupported by leggings or something over the top. I like loose knickers, and have been avoiding buying smaller ones - somehow I don't feel ready for them, but the psychology behind that escapes me right now. Maybe I just like seeing the evidence of the weight loss? I dunno...

For me the last thing to go (today in fact) were by bras, I had got pants relatively quickly as they are easy to chuck in with the shopping when I go round Sainsburys!

I hate too small knickers but am still scared of the 12 laughing me out of the bedroom so I buy 14s. Although dp bought me some fancy knickers i had been coveting and he got a 12 and I was dreading putting on but they fit. Agree re skinny with boobs its no picnic you are always one accessory away from barmaid

I think there is another measurement which comes into play, how far they come up at the back. Still wearing size 16 even though dropped to a 12-14.

I lost weight a couple of years ago, going from a 10-12 to a 6-8. It is only in the last few months that I have finally started buying size 8 knickers!

Oh I do love my big knickers. I've also lost weight but if I wear smaller pre pg knickers they roll down over my lower tummy flab and nestle in my c section scar
