AMAZING!

I just had a quick go, straight out the box on dry hair, no product, now all curly.

I've only done a few small sections, it would take ages to do the whole lot as it doesn't work with big chunks.

Wahhhh! I want one!!!

propertyNIGHTmareBEFOREXMAS · 03/04/2013 11:14

Oh stop. I am wanting one too now. Is it piss easy? I find I get tired arms from using curling wands. I get fed up of all the arm effort required to hold wand up above my head and the actual twisting motion required to curl my entire head. Does your new gadget offer hope to lazy fuckers like me?

Fluxedo · 03/04/2013 11:18

I have a question too - can it curl your hair all the way up to the root so that you get some root lift, or does it just do the lengths, iyswim?

YourHandInMyHand · 03/04/2013 11:20

I'd love to find an easy way to curl my thick hair, fed up of the straightened look.

propertyNIGHTmareBEFOREXMAS · 03/04/2013 11:25

I've just watched the vid on utube and it looks easier than a wand. Less arm movement required, so good for the lazy. But the curls it creates look quite loose? I hope I would find them satisfying as they are perhaps less intense than a wand. I still want one though.

happymundanes · 03/04/2013 12:25

Property I think it's made with energy-savers like you and me in mind!

I was expecting a huge contraption but it's very neat and light to hold. Ready to use almost instantly.

Fluxedo you clamp it onto the length of hair, so no it doesn't do the root.

Definitely very very easy.

I'm posting on all the threads about this product! It's absolutely fantastic!

If you like to wear your hair curly you NEED one of these.

propertyNIGHTmareBEFOREXMAS · 03/04/2013 12:33

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I think I will have to get one. I will probably wait a little bit to see if any offers come up anywhere as I love a deal!

BigFairy · 03/04/2013 18:49

Oooh it looks really good. Can the hair get tangled or caught in the barrel bit though? Is it totally foolproof? I am so rubbish at styling my hair which is just below shoulder length and fine and lacking in volume. This could be what I need but worried about spending so much and then not using it much.

YourHandInMyHand · 03/04/2013 19:42

Just looked up the price, excuse my language but fucking hell!!!! Shock

Guess I'll stick to my trusty old set of straighteners.

goodygumdrops · 03/04/2013 19:44

This probably sounds stupid but has anyone with already curly hair tried it? Wondering if it would make curls more defined and less frizzy if you already have thick curly hair ...?

BarbaraWoodlouse · 03/04/2013 22:51

Will you all please stop with the new Babyliss must have. DH will seriously divorce me if I buy another gadget I think he thinks my root boost and my GHDs are one and the same Shock

Cristiane · 04/04/2013 13:31

Oh god. I saw this thread and just bought one...

I already have the BBH and the ceramic rollers... Just must stop looking at Style and Beauty threads...

On the other hand I have discovered aldi makeup and skincare and that must be saving me hundreds...

RubyrooUK · 04/04/2013 13:45

Where did you buy it, OP?

happymundanes · 04/04/2013 14:04

I got mine from here.

I just posted on another thread that it is entirely possible to get your hair all tangled up in it if like me you fail to read the instructions. I was using it upside down. Since I got the hang of it I haven't had any more disasters.

hi has anybody tried the ones from China, Ebay is selling them quite cheap

DrGooley · 28/10/2013 18:03

Does anyone know what the difference is between the Babyliss Pro Curl as and the Babyliss Secret Curl ?

DukeSilver · 28/10/2013 18:06

How long would it take to do a whole head of bra strap length thick hair? I would like one in principle but am so lazy with my hair that anything that takes longer than 10 minutes is out.

thirtyoneandclueless · 28/10/2013 18:12

That looks so good!

Wish I could afford one, wonder if they will be reduced in time.

Was actually just thinking I could buy one for my sister who has a special birthday coming up then I could borrow it Grin

Northumberlandlass · 28/10/2013 18:31

Bollocks

Is it REALLY good?

DukeSilver · 28/10/2013 21:06

I worry about trusting the recommendations on mumsnet...I am still pissed about how crap my babyliss big hair is :o

Coumarin · 28/10/2013 21:57

This looks tempting but I was also sucked in to the Babyliss Big Hair hype and that did sod all for my hair. Two uses with lots of swearing and it's been sat unloved in the wardrobe ever since.

Do you think this would work on wild thick frizzy wavy hair or will I still have to spend 20 minutes straightening it into submission beforehand?

Dillydollydaydream · 29/10/2013 00:06

Oh no. Just seen the video. I. Need. One.

SorrelForbes · 29/10/2013 15:20

The Pro Curl is amazing. When my hair was past my shoulders it still only took about 10 minutes to curl.

macandcheesewithbaconbits · 29/10/2013 22:06

Will it work on naturally frizzy, curly hair?
