I'm having a nightmare, posted on here a few weeks ago and I am still on the hunt! I need mid heel (a scary height for me as i'm usually flats or sky high), tan leather wedges or slides or sandals...

Not keen on a block heel, I can't do an ankle strap as it cuts off my legs or anything from clarks Shock.

I LOVE these but they are all either way too high or way too £££.. Budget up to £60 - £70

I have exhausted the high street, if anyone can find me something perfect to race after the kids in and still look stylish in shorts or dress I would SNOG you!

Madammecholet - in answer to your qu re Carvela ones from near top of the thread - I can run in these after my 4 year old, not wobbly or too high

OP I know what you mean re peep toe - that would be my ideal style too. Bowing out with suggestions but avidly watching to see what others suggest - in the hope someone else finds the perfect shoe for me too Smile

Thanks looster, they're a contender.

Friendlymum67 I feel like this could be an eternal quest.

I've ordered the NEXT ones, hoping they are better made than they look tbh, else they'll be going back. BUT at least I get to either confirm I hate ankle straps of change mind and order Hobbs ones for a look see...

THANKS ladies Wine

Why, why, why do I come on style and beauty??!

I love those tan carvela wedges and the fact that they are comfy makes them ideal!

Thanks for the recommendation!

For anyone who is now coveting the KG Carvela Kaitlin wedges there is 25% off on the KG website using the code VOGUE25 which makes them £56.25

Next ones arrived, no good, ankle strap just looks so un flattering on me for some reason.. 5'9 but size 8 feet so it makes them look like hobbit feet somehow.....

gonna look at mint velvet and hobbs ones again...

KG ones too similar to tan wedges I already have..

have you been to [[www.shoeaholics.com shoeaholics]] yet? They should have something

I also want the carvela ones, just worried about the height, I don't do heels, am I going to be constantly going over on my ankle? But then I'm imagining them adding a couple of inches to my legs, which at 5ft 1 I could really use, especially when wearing summer dresses [optimistic].

Just ordered them, eek, I'll report back. At least your thread is helping some of us buy things we shouldn't madammecholet Grin

If you love the jimmy choo ones and they are ideal could you stretch to them? Birthday, anniversary money etc?

Impose shopping ban then?

Search on amazon for wedge sandal. This is the sort of things they have

I have pretty much the same requirements in sandals, and also have a 4 yo and size 42 feet. I got the White Stuff ones a couple of years ago (they had cork soles then) and they are perfect. I also "collect" the White Stuff Angelina wedge court shoes they do every season in different colours.
