I struggle with this every year and usually revert to ballet pumps or Fly wedges.

I like something fairly chunky, interesting colours (don't really mind any colour) and a wedge heel

I wear ballerinas. But then I hardly ever wear boots, in winter I wear Ballerinas too and when it is cold I wear them with tights.

I like this sort of thing, like Converse but more supportive, feel so flat-footed in converse.

Although am still in winter boots, we have sleet Sad

Sorry, just noticed you said wedge heel, OP.

I've struggled with this problem over the years, but I hope I've resolved it this year with these: from r&b And before anyone says anything about the price, r&b boots last for years, my flat tall ones are on their 9th winter.

I bought some lovely Adidas neo trainers last week, wore on the school run today and now have bleeding heels gah!
Back into uggs til they heal, think i'll stick to my "boots to flip flops" strategy after all!
Though I do have a beautiful pair of wedge sandals from Timberland that I got for peanuts at the end of last summer waiting for me, they have a really padded sole and I'm expecting them to be really comfy!
