Anyone else hate summer clothes ???

I do. I don't even think being loaded would make any odds either, cos I just don't like summer clothes, i like to wrap up and be warm.

I think I get it off my mum as she's the same. Am dreading having to buy anything summery at all.

I need to get a jacket for the summer but i hate them all. Have 4 winter coats though (how did that happen) cos i loved loads of them.

Someone convince me summer style is nice.

LOL - I am always cold - winter or summer!. I don't hate summer clothes but I wear what suits me and my shape - it's those of an ample nature who like to wear the bare minimum that freaks me out.

I hate summer fasion, as it requires the showing of acres of flesh. I am slightly larger than average, and I resent scaring small children with the mounds of doughy, freckly skin that spills out of sleeveless garments.

I tried kaftans too, and the just hang tentlike from my norks, making me look preggers (which I am at the moment, so not too bad currently)

love love love summer clothes! I am not a winter person at all! I love it that I can bung on a linen skirt flip flops and vest top and not worry that i'll be cold!

I don't like it much - prefer hats, gloves, boots, scarves, coats etc.

I alo hate it when people with manky feet insist on wearing flip flops. I make DP keep his rancid feet covered at all times.

I can't DO summer clothes, I just look like a scruffy student whatever I do

And i hate feet, so summer a bit of anightmare for me

I really don't want to put away my black opaque tights...please don't make me do itSad. And what is this obsession with cap sleeves? I am of ample proportions too, and my upper arms leave a lot to be desired - even Evans, FFS, who really should know better, seem to have mostly cap sleeved T-shirtsAngry

Don't like the fact that may have to display bingo wings, white legs that never tan (or go bright orange at first sniff of fake), have to remove ever increasing tidal wave of body hair, display horned hooves and weird shaped toes, er...

But it's not teh fashions that I hate, it's me underneath!

i love nice cotton trourers( gap crops me faves)
t shirts ...colours... lettign the clothes be seen 9 no coats) fab sandlas or flip flops and its all so cheap

I wish it were warm enough to wear them at one point.

I miss summers in Denver - just throwing on tshirt, shorts and sandals. No jacket, no jumper. Having a natural tan all summer. Sitting outside in light clothes or a swim costume all day.

Bliss.

Love changing the nail varnish on my toes.

Sparkly lotions to accentuate the tan.

Sunglasses and light hats.

I'd love summer fashion and shorts if it wasn't for my totally colourless skin and lardiness
even when I was thinner I looked rubbish because I'm so pale. Which I don't really mind - I'm going to age beautifully, hah - but it is boring having people say 'ooh you're so pale' all the time and 'oh you haven't got much of a tan have you' grr

winter clothes never get seen though! you always have to hide them with a big ugly coat! BORING!

I am not keen, I must admit. Mostly as my staple wardrobe is black. I am really, really making an effort this year, but I can't do pale colours. I also don't like my shoulders or the tops of my arms, but am happy at the moment as little shrugs and boleros are still in, and I love those. Also hate shaving legs and don't bother for at least 6 months of the year. I like Autumn best :)
