Anyone else hate summer clothes ???

I do. I don't even think being loaded would make any odds either, cos I just don't like summer clothes, i like to wrap up and be warm.

I think I get it off my mum as she's the same. Am dreading having to buy anything summery at all.

I need to get a jacket for the summer but i hate them all. Have 4 winter coats though (how did that happen) cos i loved loads of them.

Someone convince me summer style is nice.

love it but hate shorts.

like to go out without a coat on, like bright colours and light clothes and sandals you can flip on and off. adore it. better with a tan though so hoping to get one at the end of May that will start me off for the summer!

I don't mind it but hate getting sweaty feet that slip around in stupid summer sandals. Hate white (too hard to keep clean) and linen (too easily creased. Shorts should only be worn by size ten's imo

I love it BUT must admit I do feel slightly bare when I wear a skirt for the 1st time at the start of summer...feel like i forgot something iykwim..

Love not having to worry about a coat and trying to match it to the outfit!!

love them. hate being dragged down by excess clothes and then sweltering in an air conditioned office. I love light layers - who says you have to show flesh?

Although the higher leg and foot maintenance does drive me spare sometimes.

I like to wear flip flops - all varieties some nice long linen trews and a tight vest top - sun shining g&t in hand! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I hate clothes for proper hot weather (shorts God help us!), but love warm weather clothes. Cotton, nice colours - fab!

i have been shopping this week for summer clothes got some fab bits for holiday! linen trousers here i come! shorts are a must... got some fab cropped jeans as well! and a gorgeous dress from top shop! LOVE SUMMER LOVE SUMMER LOVE SUMMER!

I love summer clothes and especially shoes. Am really wanting to wear it all. And I am a size 10 - so have permission to wear shorts!

Not according to compo. Actually I am fairly sparing in my shorts wearing due to milk bottle legs. I wear a lot of skirts and cropped trousers so glare not quite so bad.

God yes! My main summer clothes dilemma! I like skirts, but have blue-ish legs. Do I fake tan, (so my legs look completely different to the rest of my body), or stay with the glare? I couldn't fake tan all over - I don't have the colouring for it.

Although I hate anything sleeveless or skimpy, I like a lot of summer separates like cropped trousers, city shorts, tunic tops or kaftans. I do get hacked off that most summer dresses have to be worn with cardigans so I don't have to show my disproportionate upper arms (hate the phrase 'bingo wings' but if the cap-sleeve doesn't fit...)

Every summer there is always one thing that you can't avoid wherever you go though - last year I saw far, far too many big peasanty skirts. What's it going to be this year?

wessex girl everywhere u go at the minute is shorts! ... So glad that BOHO look is out I mean is was nice for a little while but everyone was dressed the same!

I can't wear shorts, skirts or summer dresses because I am really self-conscious about my varicose veins, so I invariably boil all summer long in trousers. Gah I'm moving to somewhere cold!

Tiny I like linen trousers but thats about it. I love it when I first put them on but 1 hour later they look like s*! They are creased and to big!

thats the only thing that gets me down! Is my stretch mark belly! no bikini's for me ever again! Even though ( I have the body for it now) Just lost 3 and a half stone! NO WAY COULD I Wear a bikini eurrghhh!

I just lurve sandles but they are so sodding uncomfortable they have been known to make me cry, especially if they go between your toes and make blisters.

Summer clothes need olive skin and bright colours with sense of style like Spanish or Italian.
Hate hate hate pasty english skin in cheap Matalan pastels two sizes too small.

English Roses should stick to floaty florals, wear large straw hats and be laydees.

Love summer clothes outside work, don't love summer clothes so much for work. Never know what to wear to the office.
