If you want exfoliation..better than a peel imo get a dermaflannel!

Amazing , i've been using glycolic home peel occassionally and glycolic serum but this , used once has really made a difference!

I used it last night and this am i have a few teeny whiteheads between my brows that have obviously been lurking under the skin .

I got it for blackheads and blocked pores and you're meant to use it nightly for that, says it takes a few times to really see the difference.

Thought I'd share my new wonder flannel, looks like a normal flannel but when you use it it feels very different.

Thank you gracelesslady! I had been exfoliating after - it never occurred to me to do it before. I'll get Tend Skin, too. I got threaded the other day and the woman pretty properly told me off for waxing - said it'd give me lines and was bad for my skin! Not sure...

Anyway, been using the rather itchy painful 10% glycolic moisturising cream and using the flannel a bit cautiously. Not sure if I look better but I like doing it! Glad you're coming through it Charliefox.

LovingTheSunshine · 14/03/2013 14:16

Thanks. Have ordered one anyway as want to use it on my less sensitive body :)

Levantine · 14/03/2013 19:45

I've been using mine for a week now. My skin looks much healthier. Can't reallyil understand why but it works

ToothGah · 14/03/2013 20:22

My 33p dimply microfibre cloth is also working Grin

My mum was amazed by my skin and kept asking me what I'd done different my SD said I looked like "the Pears soap girl" :)

Bought another pack of the cloths from The Range today :)

MrsKoala · 14/03/2013 20:27

mine arrived 3 days ago. my skin is pinker and a lot of little spots have come to the surface. the blackheads on my nose are clearer but i still have open pores. i will persevere as i think it's just clearing the skin of deep dirt.

ggirl · 14/03/2013 20:54

we're all ignoring you and your cheap cloth ToothGah Wink...dammit!

If the dermaflannel is better I'm willing to fork out for it, but really happy for now with the cheap version Grin

I've found by googling that a lot of people with acne swear by microfibre cloths, also good for people doing OCM, so I'm not sure if the type makes much difference.

onamissiontomakeithappen · 15/03/2013 06:43

This hasn't made any difference to my skin :(

PipsWife · 15/03/2013 08:46

Just ordered mine after years of open pores and shiny skin - fingers crossed!

Thanks

lurkingfromhome · 15/03/2013 09:12

Have used mine twice now and it is indeed a miracle! Had a cluster of spots sitting under my skin that had been there for a couple of weeks not budging and today they feel so much better Skin definitely smoother and less blotchy, although I think I was a bit too enthusiastic with it as I have a dry patch on my chin and another under my eye - it feels just like a soft flannel so I think it's easy to scrub too hard.

My plan is to use it lightly every night but twice a week use it less cautiously and give my face a bit more of a peel effect. Have also just bought a few La Roche Posay products (also recommended here and about half the price of the MD Formulations stuff I currently use...) so will give them a go too.

Charliefox · 15/03/2013 12:17

All my dry patches have now gone and I have lovely, smooth skin which defo looks brighter. Am now going to scrub the living be-cheesus out of it and 'go for the burn'. Shiny skin peeled skin here I come!

DrGoogleWillSeeYouNow · 15/03/2013 12:59

A slight difference to my skin, my chin in particular looks a bit smoother and more even in colour. I?ve only used the flannel once every 2-3 days, three times in total, so I think I need to use it a bit more often and a bit more vigorously.

A work colleague has started using a cheap microfiber cloth after I told her about the flannel and this thread. She?s been using it ?enthusiastically? for three nights and her skin definitely looks a lot brighter today than usual ? so for those not wanting to spend out, a cheap pack of cloths from the supermarket would do as good a job imo.

ggirl · 15/03/2013 19:02

I'm so glad some of us are getting results! Charliefox..go easy girl! I still have completely raw patch from scrubbing .

Got mine today, super excited to use it tonight! Will report back in the morning.

dollyxdaydreamer · 15/03/2013 22:01

Update! I've used the dermaflannel every 2-3 days for a week now (4x total) and can definitely see a big difference in my skin. Really pleasantly surprised! Agree that it definitely sort of creeps up on you.
I've found that it makes my skin much more 'refined' compared to using a normal flannel. Infant, I now find my usual flannels too scratchy and leave my skin a bit angry/inflamed/irritated (and I don't rub hard!). This cloth somehow seems to do a better job, but at the same time be more gentle. As others have said, it's a miracle - and this is coming from someone who thought it was crap to start with!

ToothGah · 16/03/2013 00:31

Totally agree with DrGoogle - my skin also seems more even in colour.

When I've got no makeup on my skin seems a lot clearer, less red around the cheeks in particular (how on earth can a simple cloth do that?) and basically just brighter and better. My mum was literally studying my skin yesterday saying I hadn't got a single wrinkle - my skin feels plump and almost a little tight.

33p ladies! Just a 33p cloth, no dermaflannel here Grin

I'm hoping for an improvement in my pores but I do have glycolic acid now which I'll be testing out tomorrow Grin

Ikeameatballs · 16/03/2013 08:36

Well this morning my right cheek is pretty rosy pink, not sure if somehow I overdid that area compared with everywhere else? My skin in general feels a bit tighter, the spots I have on my chin seem to be healing up.

I am going to take photos on my phone to try to be objective about it.

How often are you all sing it? I was thinking alternate days? Or is using it gently every day going to be better?

chocolatespiders · 16/03/2013 08:57

Tooth - are the cloths you talk about the ones you would find in Asda cleaning isle? Have not got the money for a posh one and will wait and put an order in when I get paid.
Wondering if they would be good for dd 15 she has bumpy cheeks bit like the bumps some people get one their arms.
Do you use to take cleanser off or just with water?

ggirl · 16/03/2013 09:42

I've used it on ds(10) upper arms which have dry little bumps on them and it works, I need a few more goes at it but amazing!

I have little red dots on my legs, not really spots as they don't have heads, apart from the odd one or two. Any idea if this would help? I'm an S&B numpty, I don't currently exfoliate anywhere except for my face. I also have blocked pores on my nose which I'd like to be rid of.

Do people use muslin for face washing then? I'm a bit skint, but I do have muslin. Might see if I can get hold of a microfibre cloth as well though.

chocolatespiders · 16/03/2013 11:05

A the moment I use the Ikea childrens face cloths for cleansing with Liz earle hot polish.
Going to try this on bumpy arms as well

sh77 · 16/03/2013 11:58

Used it for the first time last night. I can't believe how glowy my skin is this morning. I am 36 and have been thnking about what to use. The skincare market is a real minefield - I don't need any other exfoliator. My skin is bright and smooth and my vitalumiere foundation looks even more goegeous. I am not into skincare routines and facials but this truly is amazing!! Thanks ggirl. Hope bravura send you lots of goodies for the exposure.
Would not use the more abrasive cloth they are launching as this was perfect.

Snoozy1 · 16/03/2013 12:41

£3.65 delivery?! for a cloth?! That's put me off a bit Hmm
